Spacious Waterfront Year Round Cottage

2-storey, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, waterfront cottage with beautiful sunset views. Quiet and family friendly. Located on Sebright’s Bay (connected to Round Lake), Havelock, Ontario. Calm lake excellent for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing in the spring, summer and fall. Enjoy snowshoeing, skating, ice fishing and exploring nearby snowmobile/ATV trails during the winter.

Canoe and child’s kayak available for your use. 5 minute drive to access the boat launch. 10 minute drive to town of Havelock to Foodland, LCBO, Beer Store, Pharmacy and Tim Hortons.

Spacious main floor with mud room, powder room, kitchen, large dining table and living room. Smart TV provided with free Wi-Fi. There is no cable or satellite.

The kitchen is equipped with utensils, pots, pans, plates and glasses/cups. Appliances include a stove, microwave, kettle, Keurig coffee maker, griddle, instant pot, dishwasher and fridge. There is also a full size freezer in the mudroom.

Three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower are located on the second floor. Two bedrooms have a queen bed, and the third bedroom is perfect for a family or kid’s room with 2 double beds and a twin bunk. LINENS ARE NOT PROVIDED. Please bring your own linens (bedding, pillows, towels, tea towels etc.).

Make s’mores on the fire and relax on the dock and enjoy the sunsets! BBQ, and propane is supplied.

There is parking for 2 vehicles.

Small sized dogs less than 20lbs are welcome, must be well behaved and leashed for courtesy of other residents. No cats please.

Additional Items to Note:
• Please keep the cottage and water safe and refrain from using glasses or glass
bottles when by the water.
• DO NOT put coffee grinds down the sink or toilet and dispose of sanitary napkin
products, wet wipes and diapers in the garbage, NOT down the toilet.
• The tap water is not for suitable for drinking. 1 water jug is supplied.
• Check in is 4:00 pm
• Check out 11:00 am sharp.
• Firewood is available for purchase prior to arrival- please contact owner for
pricing.
• All garbabe/recycling and waste must be sorted and disposed of in clear plastic
bags and leave the premise with you upon departure.
• Refer to Cottage Rental Agreement for full details.

Normes

Garbage/Recyclying must leave the premises with you and sorted/disposed of in clear plastic bags. Otherwise, a disposal fee of $150.00 will apply.
Noise Control: -No excessive noise (loud voices/ music) at any time. All music must be off by 11:00 pm and fires out by 12:00 am.
Keep inside and outside neat and tidy during stay as well as upon departure. Otherwise, extra cleaning fees will apply. Raft is not for use.

Very nicely decorated spacious luxurious accommodations. Very well furnished. In late August the lake was quite weedy fairly far out. There was also a rat in the main floor bathroom, though it kept mostly to itself.

Lovely stay

Perfect location close to Havelock. Water is warm and close - great for kids swimming. Lots of wildlife and a mama and baby loon who visited us a lot. The host is wonderful and the cottage is comfortable and cosy.

Fantastic, flexibile, and friendly!

We had to postpone our trip due to a COVID case, and the owner was extremely helpful and flexible with helping us get rebooked. We also had some questions throughout the stay and communication was always prompt and friendly. The itself property was very clean, cozy, and well heated (we went in November). A wonderful location, tucked away on a quiet lake but only about 10 minutes away from all the essentials (key because the water cannot be consumed). Would strongly recommend for any time of the year!

Great, responsive host!

We had an excellent time during our stay, with beautiful views on the lake and the coziest fireplace. Lots of warm lights throughout the cottage, games, and a well-equipped kitchen made the weekend easy to enjoy. But we were most impressed by the consideration and graciousness of our host. Jen was responsive, thoughtful, and thorough. We greatly appreciated it!

Water dream

We loved our 4 night stay at Jens simple yet perfect cottage. The proximity to the water was the highlight - feeling like we were in a houseboat on the lake. It was charming and just perfect. Had to be mindful of the weeds but once you got the hang of it, it wasn't a huge deal. The Loons and wildlife were amazing and the sunsets spectacular.

Beautiful getaway property!

This cottage was so cozy and comfortable. It's nice to have the extra bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The fireplace pilot had gone out but a quick call to the owners who talked us through relighting it and we were enjoying the fire. Great place to get away from the city lights!

I had a wonderful experience here. The place is nicer than it looked in the ad, was in a very quiet location, but still only 15 min to town, and had everything you need to just unplug and relax. I will definitely come back here.

Fantastic family holiday

The place had everything we needed and more. The kids loved jumping off the dock and paddling around the bay with the kayak. The beds were comfortable and the entire cottage was clean and well kept we will definitely be booking again for next year.
