"Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"We stayed in an accessible room which doubled as a family room and unfortunately the family next door were very noisy. They kept their kids up until one in the morning and then shouted at them for crying! Then they were awake at six doing the same. Also, from 12:15 every five minutes we received a call on the room phone from a man who just said hello ma'am and put the phone down. "We had a fantastic experience at the Copthorne Merry Hill. Our room was very comfortable with a waterside view and I was delighted to find the en-suite had a bath. The room had Tea and coffee making facilities + biscuits and a fridge containing water and 2 little bars of chocolate; delightful. The staff were really kind, efficient and helpful.
