This site is located in a small campground, away from big cities and urban settings and is a perfect place to stay while exploring Land Between the Lakes -the National Recreational area. Our campground is the closest one to Turkey Bay off road vehicle trails open all year round. No matter what time of the year you visit, there are always things to do and see. Kentucky lake with 2,300 miles of cove-studded shoreline, many boat docks and variety of fish, attracts several million vacationers each year. Spend some time hiking, fishing or just relaxing while boating Kentucky Lake. Bring your bicycle, golf cart, paddle board, kayak, motorcycle, Jeep to make your stay more enjoyable. Hunting is also popular at LBL and it's a tool to manage wild game populations. The Land is filled with white-tailed deer, wild turkey, waterfowl, squirrel, rabbit, fox, bobcat and other small animals.
We are open all year round and this site is available for seasonal/annual and short- term stay. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day holiday until the end of Labor Day weekend. For your convenience we have - guest laundry room, fish cleaning station (available for our hunters also), Wi-Fi (limited access), pavilion with a gas grill, picnic area, fishing pond, playground and a beautiful road leading to a killer overlook of Kentucky Lake. Once you get to a staircase, expect to spend some time soaking up the view!
For your convenience we also offer plenty of firewood, 10lbs ice bags, several paddle boards and kayak for additional charge.
