Què li ha agradat: Neteja, personal i servei
This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter. We booked a balcony "suite" (not a suite, just a regular room, but I knew this from the booking details) and we overlooked Train street. So, not only is Train street a few steps away, but we could sit outside and watch the trains pass, which is fun.
Be aware that this does mean some street noise, but not so much to be an issue.
This is a budget hotel, so as expected doesn't look quite like the photos in real life. The room itself is old. However, we came to realise that all the furniture and fittings have been refreshed, and everything was spotlessly clean. Bonus points for a nice, hot shower with very adequate water pressure.
The staff at Spoon Hotel were very friendly, helpful and proactive. There are nice little touches like umbrellas and paperbacks to borrow, and they can arrange tours and taxis for you.
Breakfast was included in our room rate and given the size of the hotel, I was not expecting much. But there was always a nice selection of food available, with eggs and other breakfast dishes cooked to order.
