"Let's start with the positive first. It's a beautiful hotel visually, a little ways off the road on a private track with a wonderful view of the vally below. "I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Perfectly situated for day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The definition of quaint and charming cottage in the English countryside. We had dinner and breakfast every day and the food is amazing!! "

"Everything about our stay was perfect, food was excellent and use of the spa is well worth it. We were upgraded without requesting it (never ever asked before) the room was stunning. The only downside was that we were directly above the kitchen, and there was constant banging coming from the kitchen. When i asked, apparently it was the water pipes when the dishwasher was in use. Didn't really affect us, as we were hardly in our room, but i could imagine you wanted a relaxing time in your room...

"Staff very friendly and welcoming, and the room was a good size and comfortable. They need to add some security to the corridor doors, to avoid entry by non-guests, which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. I'd gladly stay there again."

"I had to move through in the middle of the night because there was noise next door from an extractor fan in another guest room. The Knight water was very helpful and found me another room."

"Probably not the best for the more senior among us, 30 stairs up to the bedroom, no lifts. Room was clean, staff were good, not a lot of choice for breakfast."

"Lovely room. I don't like coffee bags, they are so weak. Facilities good. Bathroom tiles need grouting bleached. View not bad, I did expect a better view for a deluxe room but it was perfectly ok. But overall, very good stay and I would definitely stay there again."

"Breakfast menu was quite lean on the cold/continental menu but had varied with the hot food. Could do better with the continental breakfast section. Take note that parking isn’t free or complimentary."
