The Space

This listing includes TWO separate waterfront cabins, Family Retreat and Lakeside Lodge, rented together exclusively for your group. Combined, they offer 6 bedrooms and accommodations for up to 24 guests, making this an ideal setup for family reunions, multi-family vacations, fishing trips, and large groups.

The best part? Everyone can vacation together without having to share one crowded house. Your group gets two kitchens, multiple living and gathering spaces, multiple bathrooms, and plenty of room to spread out.

Family Retreat is a 3-bedroom waterfront cabin that sleeps up to 12 and features a three-season sunroom, renovated bathroom, kitchen, living area, and semi-private dock.

Lakeside Lodge is a 3-bedroom waterfront cabin that sleeps up to 10 comfortably, with additional sleeping capacity for larger groups. It features a kitchen, multiple living spaces including a finished basement, 1.5 bathrooms, a handicap-accessible ramp, and its own private dock.

Together, the two cabins can accommodate up to 24 guests.

Good to Know

🏡 This is TWO separate cabins. They are located near one another at Back Bay Campground but are not connected internally.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Designed for large groups. The setup works especially well for extended families or multiple families traveling together, you can spend the day together while still having separate spaces to relax, cook, sleep, or put the kids to bed.

🌊 Waterfront location. Both cabins sit along Black Lake and provide convenient access to the water and docks.

🍳 Two kitchens. Preparing meals for a large group is much easier when you have two separate kitchens and refrigerators available.

🛋️ Multiple gathering spaces. Instead of putting 20+ people into a single living room, your group has multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to spread out.

🎣 Great for fishing groups. With Black Lake right outside your cabins and dock access, this setup is especially convenient for groups coming to the area to fish.

🏕️ You're staying at Back Bay Campground. In addition to your two cabins, your group can enjoy the campground's shared amenities during the operating season.

This reservation includes both Family Retreat and Lakeside Lodge exclusively for your group. The cabins are separate buildings located near one another, giving you the convenience of being together while still having your own space.

A few things to know before booking:

Maximum occupancy is 24 guests. Please include everyone who will be staying at or visiting the cabins in your reservation.

This is a campground setting. You'll have your own cabins and waterfront areas, but Back Bay Campground is an active campground with other cabins, RV sites, and guests nearby.

Docks and waterfront areas require supervision. Children should always be supervised around the lake, docks, pool, and shoreline.

Bring your boats and fishing gear! Black Lake is known for its fishing, and guests can take advantage of convenient lake access. Boat and pontoon rentals may also be available directly through Back Bay Campground.

Cool off in our heated pool! From Memorial Day through Labor Day, guests can enjoy Back Bay's heated swimming pool, perfect for families and a great way to spend an afternoon when you're not out on the lake.

Something special for the kids! From Memorial Day through Labor Day, we'll also have a 40-foot-long bounce house, giving the kids another way to burn off some energy and have fun during your stay.

Rainy day? Late night? Kids still have energy? Our 24/7 arcade and game room offers arcade games, a pool table, and more, giving both kids and adults something to do beyond the lake.

24/7 vending means fewer trips into town. Grab snacks, drinks, frozen treats, and other items right at the campground whenever you need them, especially convenient when you're traveling with a large group.

Heading out fishing early? Our 24/7 bait vending machine makes it easy to grab bait whenever you're ready to hit the water, even first thing in the morning.

Seasonal amenities vary. The heated pool and 40-foot bounce house are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day, while other campground amenities may vary by season or weather.

Large groups are welcome! We just ask that you respect our neighbors and other campground guests. This property is a great fit for family reunions, multi-family vacations, fishing groups, and celebrations, but it is not intended for disruptive parties.

The road into Back Bay is part of the experience! The campground is located approximately 1.75 miles down a dirt road. Drive carefully and enjoy the feeling of getting away from it all.
