"607 Bay Inn is a beautifully renovated inn, exquisitely located in the charming, historically significant Beaufort, SC. The inn’s owner and staff are friendly, outgoing and create a warm and welcoming environment for their guests. The water views and convenience to downtown shops and restaurants could not be any better. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 607 as a memorable part of our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We will definitely return!!"

"The pool was out of order, which was no big deal but the elevator was out of order too and the only room available was on the third floor, so we had to carry luggage up and down three flights. The desk clerk didnt care, no "sorry" or anything."

While website shows pancakes etc. the breakfast was biscuits and gravy with a small amount of fruit and cheap donuts. The buildings outdoor areas are nice but they should lose the tacky couches. Lots of potential here but I felt they missed the mark with dirty room and inferior breakfast."

"The maid was very friendly and the staff were welcoming. The front doors and inside doors need cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. The microwave and refrigerator worked well. Street noise was a bit loud in the mornings."

"This place was filthy. I don't think they own a vacuum cleaner, or maybe it's broken or something because there were Cheerios, bits of plastic, dried mud clumps and I don't even want to know what the white stuff was in the carpets. The walls had smears, there was tape on the ceiling, and the dust on the lamps and towel shelves was thick enough to carve. The toilet paper dispenser doesn't fit a whole roll of toilet paper; you have to take it off the core to get it to actually roll. The shampoo...

"Close to my work area"

"The room was nasty as there were bugs in our room, the bed was horrible and the drain to the shower would only go down very slowly. One of the maids asked us for money on Saturday stating “until she got paid tomorrow” which happened to be Easter Sunday and knew she would not get paid that day. There were also kids running up and down the hallway and slamming doors. We checked out early because of this. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!"
