Country Retreat in a Cozy Little Town

Welcome to this country home ready for your retreat! Whether your hunting nearby or in town for a much-needed trip "away", this is the perfect place to stay!
Savor country living at this farmhouse that comes with 2 bedrooms, living area with queen-size pull out couch, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, washer, dryer, WIFI and more! Grab some coffee/tea and sip it on the front porch to take it all in!
The space
This cozy home is on one level and offers warm comforts for guests. We strive to be family-friendly with offerings such as toys, board games and a small swing set outside. There is a rocking chair in the main bedroom. There are TV's in each room with streaming services in two of the rooms. There is a kitchen nook with four stools and a dining room that seats four as well.
Guest Access
Our home sits on 80 acres with additional outbuildings for farming purposes. These additional buildings are not accessible for guests. No trespassing signs are posted to make guest aware of these areas.
Other Things to Note
We want our guest to enjoy their experience in our country retreat while also respecting the quiet nature of the town. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, along with smoking of ANY kind on the property.
• Nature = wild animals and bugs. Some find this awesome; others find it a little scary. Be aware that there is wildlife in this area. They are pretty timid and never stick around long when they hear people. Never leave food or garbage outside as it is sure to attract this wildlife (racoons, and coyotes, and…). Also common are deer and turkeys. Nature also has bugs of all varieties.
We like to use this as a way for our kiddos to dig into the science world!
Nearby Attractions:
The town of Tina is home of the Tina Livestock Auction. If your looking to buy or sell livestock, this is the place for you. Even if you just enjoy looking at the animals, you can stop in on a sale day.
Carrollton is a city nearby with restaurants to choose from that range from McDonalds to local establishments.
Carrollton also has many events throughout the year. Check out the City of Carrollton website for more information on dates for these events.
Chillicothe is another nearby city that is well know as the "Home of Sliced Bread." With a beautiful downtown area, you will find shopping and eating with local flare in this area.
Chillicothe also has a golf course as well as a water park called "Chilli Bay"
