Enjoy a relaxing stay at this newly renovated, two-story beach house, offering beautiful views of the Caribbean. Located in a quiet area, this property provides a comfortable and convenient space for your beach getaway.

• 4 Bedrooms / 3 Bathrooms: The house has four fully air-conditioned bedrooms with blackout curtains and individual closets. It has three bathrooms, each equipped with a rainfall shower and toiletries. Linens and towels are provided.

• Private Pool: A private pool is available for your enjoyment, with views of the sea and a peaceful atmosphere.

• Upstairs Kitchen & Lower Kitchenette: The main kitchen is located upstairs, fully equipped for preparing meals, while a lower kitchenette offers a smaller space for preparing poolside snacks.

• Amenities: The house comes with essentials including blow dryers, beach towels, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash).

Pure bliss. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood tucked in a peninsula that offers breathtaking views. It is tastefully decorated, well equipped (we especially enjoyed the thoroughly equipped kitchen), and impeccably clean. The host was communicative and welcoming. We loved hanging out on the porch overlooking the ocean and chilling by the pool. The town of Guánica and the supermarket are a short drive away. This is a place to relax, be, and marvel at the beauty of the scenery. We’d love to return.

Downstairs not clean. Prefer lighter thinner bath towels and washcloths as dark heavy ones never dry and sour. Rentals should use white bleachable linens.

We had a wonderful experience during our week's stay. The house is very spacious with spaces for every need. The view is spectacular! Waking up to the sunrise over the water was beautiful. We spent most of our time outside on the deck or at the pool. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with cookware, dishes, and utensils. Most importantly, the communication with the owner and manager was excellent. The manager Jeffrey went above and beyond for us when we had some travel issues (not related to the house). He was on his own vacation and still communicated with us to help solve our issues. The neighbors were extremely helpful, too. A fantastic place for a relaxing vacation. As others have said, you definitely need a car to get around when staying there. There are no ubers, taxis, etc. in the area.

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely beautiful – spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and cozy living areas. The location was excellent – peaceful yet close to everything. But the real highlight was the view… absolutely stunning! Waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Our family visiting from Texas and some of our locals’ stayed over to avoid the noises from NYE and have a pleasant overlooking at the sea. Casa Ballena didn’t disappoint. Starting with the quietness of the community, the gorgeous views, the lush landscape and well appointed interiors felt truly special. We did the pool daily, visited Playa Ballena, and some of the hidden beaches nearby. We ate brunch at Dolche Salao which is 20 mins away at Yauco, and had dinner at La Parguera’s restaurants, as well as at Umami at Guanica, which was delicious with great local service. This region has some of the best service we have experienced in the island. I want to share that we were there during the big blackout in PR, however we couldn’t even tell since their power generator kicked in and powered almost the entire home. The owners were highly diligent and secured the unit provided service when needed the most, and that it powered the master bedroom and living room’s AC Inverters. Overall, our family is unanimous: we are coming back to Casa Ballena.

Gaze away your days…

Stunning views… feel relaxed just from watching the sunrises, sunsets, and late night star gazing. Location is amazing and for the price, space, and sense of security… you get what you pay for. To be honest, the property is definitely outdated. Beds are uncomfortable. The master bedroom has a bed that feels like a seesaw when you or your partner decide to roll over in the middle of the night. Intimacy/privacy can be a challenge when the master bedroom door doesn’t lock and you’re traveling with your kids and parents. Although the kitchen is well equipped, the burners on the stove are finicky. There’s a leak under the kitchen sink. Linens are provided and clean but stained from visitors from a time long forgotten… mattresses cause more back pain than relaxation. Deck roof leaks when it rains so watch where you sit while watching any rain storms pass by! The property manager, Jeffrey, was absolutely amazing to work with. He is very attentive, cares about his neighborhood and the services provided. Takes excellent care of the property with the resources that he is provided with by the property owners. Yes, I would stay here again but now know to set my expectations a bit lower.

Les recomiendo que en el area de la piscina tengan más alumbramiento, cuando se va el sol es muy oscuro. Dar mantenimiento a las camas o cambiarlas ya están un poco deterioradas. El internet NUNCA sirvió y el cable tampoco. La piscina estaba sucia no estaba limpio el piso. Me encanto el espacio me volveré a quedar pronto

Beautiful, quite and far away from all

The place is just as the photos show. The downstairs needs a lot of updates, the appliances are a bit rusty but all the appliances work well. The AC is great and really cools off the place. The only thing is that the location is very far away from everything so make sure you bring enough food to avoid back and forth trips thru the only road to get there which is very narrow and basically driving thru dangerous cliffs. The area is very quite and it felt like being on a spiritual retreat…. Very relaxing. Overall the stay was good and the property manager is great!!

Guanica South beaches the best.

Amazing view, nice spot. House was comfortable and big enough for a large group. Needs a little of upgrade. Common area big enough. All around nice place to stay and enjoy the view. Near a lot of beaches and nice house pool. Equipped with all the house appliances.

Amazing views and sea breezes

The location is stunning, Beautiful views of Gilligans island in the ocean, the homes a little dated but has all the amenities needed, Jeffery the grounds keeper is an amazing person always willing to help, so your in good hands! I highly recommend this location for your next stay

Beautiful water views

Amazing location, home is a little dated but very accommodating, has everything you need for a beautiful vacation, prime location and plenty of beautiful water views and amenities , the property manager Jeffery is an amazing host , care taker and boat guide , he will address your every need and go out of his way to make your vacation spectacular! Thank you Jeffery. I highly recommend this home , just bring food and toiletries and they supply the rest .

Great escape!

This place was excellent, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The view is spectacular for evening dinners and morning coffee. Sitting by the pool with cold beverages during the day with a constant breeze just makes it that much more peaceful and enjoyable. Great place!

Tremendo lugar para relajarse

Nuestra estadía fue inolvidable. La casa es acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario para pasarla bien y relajarse. La piscina es tremenda para terminar el día de playa. La terraza con vista al mar es excelente para cenar y pasarla bien. El administrador de la propiedad fue excelente, muy amable y siempre pendiente por si necesitábamos algo. Ya estamos planificando la próxima estadía en Casa Ballena.
