Outside, Hedone Retreat is at its most distinctive. The saltwater pool, measuring 4 x 11 metres, is set in a panoramic position and bordered by a solarium area with sun loungers, umbrellas and an outdoor shower. It feels suspended above the countryside, with views stretching across the surrounding hills. It is the natural centre of summer days: a place for swimming, reading, resting and watching the light change over the Umbrian landscape.

San Terenziano, a small local village with around 1,000 inhabitants, is just 3 kilometres away and offers useful everyday services: bars, restaurants, bakery, food shops, pharmacy, post office, ATM, florist, hairdresser, tennis court, padel court, football pitch and a children’s play area. Todi is around 20 minutes away, Perugia 35 minutes, Assisi 40 minutes, Foligno 30 minutes, Orvieto 65 minutes and the Cascate delle Marmore around 45 minutes. From this part of Umbria, it is also possible to plan day trips towards Tuscany, Lazio, the Marche and the Adriatic coast.
