"The proprietors were charming folks and resident Alaskans. They provided a wonderful breakfast, taking into account our dietary preferences. They also were interesting in that they housed firefighters who had been working to control wildfires threatening some of Alaska's beautiful natural areas."

"We stayed an extra day on our trip so we booked a night here. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the central bus location to catch a bus to different parts of the city. The bus maps and routes were very easy to figure out. The hotel had a shuttle that took us to the airport at end of our stay. The hotel is located in the downtown area, close to restaurants "

"The hotel is located in downtown. It's right along the river.They had a nice river walk. It was close to shopping and a lot of places to walk and get food. There's a barbecue place right around the corner and an ice cream truck in the parking lot across the street from the barbecue place that stays open until 10 PM. The staff there always greeted us when we came in. Asked if we were having a good day, if we needed anything. Very friendly, nice. Our hotel room was clean. I felt very secure...

"It was great. The staff sent the shuttle even though our plane got in an hour later than expected after midnight. They offered extra comforter for the sofa bed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The gym was easy to do a workout in"

"More than expected. The cabin was huge. The property was quiet-ish. That’s not the fault of the owner. Just rude neighbor. Close to the airport and within 10-20 min of pretty much everything we came to do. I would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be extra blanket in the cabin. If I was staying longer or if the temps were lower I would have asked, the owner was very friendly and I’m sure he would have obliged, I just didn’t ask. "You can't beat this place for the money. Most of the hotels in Fairbanks are overpriced summer tourists traps, not this hotel! Our room was clean and tidy. We had a separate room with a couch for watching TV. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They have an airport shuttle that will also get you to the Alaska Railroad depot. We will be return guest."
