"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Garden Cottage. The owners were so helpful and kindly lent us some fantastic books about the area, along with great local advice. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and the views are just stunning – such a peaceful and special place. "During our stay we had plenty of time to take in the amazing views and due to the great location go on long walks. Drove to Hadrian’s wall and completed a great but challenging (for me) walk all our party completed with a well deserved stop at sycamore gap. We prepared a lovely meal together 10 in our party in the barn and relaxed in the lounge with beautiful log burners. On Sunday we had a short walk to the local pub which we highly recommend.
