"The outside of the building and lobby area aren't fancy, but the room was very sufficient with a great cold air conditioner and good hot showers. The breakfast was very nice and well-maintained throughout the morning and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location for visiting Harper's Ferry historic sites and the AT."

"Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. In the fourth paragraph of the note, he days the commission Expedia takes "makes it tough for small inns like ours." In the fifth paragraph, I kid you not,...

"The large home and expansive grounds were lovely and well-maintained. We enjoyed our delicious omelette that our host Olga cooked to order for our breakfast. Special touches like coffee anytime, cookies in the evening, and use of the many sitting areas made the place feel homey and comfortable. And I can’t say enough about the views of the farmland from the porches! We will be staying there on our return trip!"

Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown...
