This cottage is charming and thoughtfully styled, and we were initially excited about our stay.Unfortunately, we encountered several cleanliness and maintenance issues that affected our comfort. We found a used cigarette on the kitchen counter and multiple dirty dishes put away as clean, including two plates which were covered in some sort of oil and a cereal bowl with dried food. This made us question the consistency of the cleaning process.The toilet did not consistently flush properly, there were no window coverings on the front door (which limited privacy at night), and basic kitchen supplies were minimal.The property has great potential and is attractively designed, but improved attention to cleaning details and functionality would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Charming, Cozy, and Full of Character!

Our stay at the Victorian Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage perfectly blends vintage charm with modern comforts — the working antique stove and claw-foot tub made us feel like we stepped back in time, but we still had all the conveniences of home like air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and fast WiFi. The one-bedroom setup was ideal for a peaceful getaway, and we loved relaxing in the outdoor space in the evenings. The house rules were clear and easy to follow, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. At 147 per night, this was a great value for such a unique and well-maintained place. Highly recommend for couples or solo travelers looking for a quiet, character-filled retreat!

Wine festival

We had a great time the weekend of the wine festival. My friends and I really enjoyed the little cottage and it was within walking distance to everything. We also like that the trolley stops right in front and there’s a walking trail right down the street. The owner was very quick with responses to any questions that I had and I truly appreciated that. We really enjoyed our stay, and I’ll book here again.

Cottage was exactly as described. Communication with host was excellent & check-in/check-out was a breeze. The cottage is an official stop for the local trolley which was awesome because we didn't have to worry about drinking and driving...had a great time!

Worth the stay!

Absolutely adorable cottage. A lot of thought was put into the design and decor. The old stove, the bathroom. It was all perfect. The square is close and it’s in the Historical district. Lots of awesome homes to see.

Great location, great place!

I would highly recommend for couples visiting from out of town. Close proximity to the square, and the local trolley stops directly in front of the cottage.
