"Very clean property. Hotel looks a bit tired and maybe could do with a makeover. Food very expensive for what you receive. We stayed in the lodge while it was very clean the shower was not fit for purpose, no pressure and if you are over 5foot8 impossible to get under shower head. The lodge rooms are very close together while it is not the property itself fault the doors banging shut in the lodge building was extremely loud. This was going on most of night and early mornings. "An incredible place to stay. Rooms are lovely. The communal space is a fab place to sit and relax. The re-wilding centre is beautiful. We did all of the trails and the guided walk. The staff were all fantastic and we learnt a lot. If booking via this site do contact the centre directly for your check-in codes as they don't come through automatically!"

"What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...
