This place was amazing. My two 20-something daughters and I stayed for four nights and we loved it. Location was wonderful and we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Direct access to the beach or sit on the patio or deck and watch/listen to the oven from there. If there was anything I could say needed attention it was the hot tub. It was pretty murky. But that's easily fixed and we'd definitely stay again! One of my daughters is already thinking of bringing her boyfriend back.

Phenomenal Stay

Overall impression: Loved the place and will come back again if available. I loved staying here and listening to the waves. When not on the beach or exploring I would sit in the rocking chairs on the deck and enjoy the view.Communications and Check-in: Check-in went smooth and host responded quickly to any questions. There was a Tsunami advisory (Russian earthquake) while I was there, and the owner was kind enough to call me and let me know in case I had not heard. Bedroom/Bathroom: The bed was very comfortable and the main bathroom is large, clean and beautiful. I did not use the second bathroom or pull out bed. Kitchen and cooking: The kitchen is well stocked and full of extra small appliances and gadgets. I was at first disappointed that there was not an outside grill, but there is a ninja cooker that made one of the best ribeye steaks I have had. I googled the instructions on the Internet. When I asked about a grill, I was told an outside grill does not last long as it will rust quickly in the salt air. Privacy and beach access: The location is pretty private with only one property to the north you can partially see from the deck. The beach side has a long deck with great views. The property sits on a hill and beach access is down a number of stairs. The stairs dump you out at the beach access spot. If you have mobility issues the stairs could be an issue, just ask my injured knee after falling while exploring tide pools. I loved having a foot washing station!

Our favorite Lincoln City stay so far

My family stays on the Oregon Coast at least twice a year, and the Lincoln City area is one of our favorites, so we've stayed in everything from hotels, cabins, vacation homes, tents, etc. in the area, and this home is by far one of our top stays. The location is amazing with quick beach access. Glendon Beach is amazing all in it's own rights, but having access right off the property is great. Not to mention all the amenities the property offers. The host was exceptional at addressing any issues that we had, and the house was above our expectations. We have already pre-booked our stay next year. No need to keep browsing, if it's available I'd recommend booking, you won't regret it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We spent 2.5 weeks at this beautiful place. The condo is nicely appointed, pleasing to be in and comfortable. Views of the ocean are great and beach access is easy. Pantries are well stocked. We’ve already booked some time for next year.

Hidden coastal gem!

I was so impressed with our stay in Derek’s home. We had an amazing time in the surrounding area and on the beach. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The attention to detail to ensure our stay was comfortable was wonderful. Towels - fluffy! Shower pressure - amazing!Coffee bar - stocked! Forget some toiletries? - you’re covered! Will definitely book again!

Absolutely perfect stay!

We have stayed all over the US in VRBO properties, as well as hotels, from high end to budget. This property ranks in my Top 10! We loved the location, super cute neighborhood, with restaurants and bars in walking distance. Beach access, with flat beach to walk. Super comfortable bed and pillows and the softest sheets, great showers! There is a firepit and hot tub outside. The grill is just a grate over the firepit, which would be our only slight negative - as we love to grill our food and didn’t want to build a fire every time we wanted to grill fish. The best part though, is all the small touches - the sample sizes of toothpaste, shave cream, etc, in case you forgot anything, the bottle of wine on arrival, etc. Absolutely loved the check in / check out process, which was simple and stress free - no ‘take out this, clean that, strip this’ cleaning check list (though we did clean before we left but it was just being a good human!). We have this on our list to return to! Thank you for a great stay!

Restful girls’ trip

The view and space are beautiful. We walked to a cafe for coffee in the mornings and enjoyed watching the waves that were so close. Host was thoughtful and the spot was just what we needed!
