Woodley Beach House - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to Woodley Beach House, located in Gleneden Beach, just a few short minutes drive south of Lincoln City! This beautiful two story home offers two bedrooms and two baths with space for up to six guests! Step through the front door and get ready to relax and enjoy what the Oregon coast has to offer!

You'll find a cozy living room area with a brand new sleeper sofa, leather chairs, and a cozy natural gas fireplace next to the large flat screen TV where you can watch a movie on rental provided Netflix or sit and chat with a fresh cup of coffee in the early morning hours. Check out the view from the new bay windows while relaxing in the living room, or just take a stroll out onto the brand new deck! Take a quick trip out into the front yard for some sun or to enjoy the smell of the ocean breeze. You can even see the blue of the ocean from the living room.

Next to the living room, you'll find the kitchen and dining room area. The kitchen has everything you'll need to whip up a quick homemade meal while on your trip. The dining room table seats up to six guests, but with the living room close by, guests will have no problem communicating with one another over meals.

Time to check out the sleeping arrangements! Each bedroom contains a king size bed. The second floor bedroom offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The downstairs bedroom has a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second downstairs bathroom contains a shower/tub. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room and a double size bed off of the stairs on the second floor, perfect for any kids in your party.

Beach access is just two blocks away, or you can head up to Lincoln City and check out the beach access via the Siletz Bay, just behind Waters Edge Condominium. You'll also find plenty of things to do while on your stay, including golfing at the Salishan golf course, shopping at the Lincoln City Outlets, catching a bite to eat at any one of the many restaurants in town, or even creating your own glass float. Don't forget! Lincoln City runs Finders Keepers every October through May on the Lincoln City beaches. Try your luck at finding a glass float you'll get to keep forever. You'll have many things to see and do while staying at Woodley Beach House, so book your stay with Oregon Beach Vacations today!

Great location

We spent the weekend at this property and would stay again. The house is very cozy and is within walking distance to the beach. House was pretty clean and very well equipped for a fun stay.

Annual Girls weekend

The house was just fine for the weekend, although it is "cozy".The master king bed is worn out & has a severe V. But if you sleep with your pillows along the side, it is comfortable! Otherwise, the house was just right for our group of friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very cozy and close to the beach. But in the master bedroom the bed needs a new mattress. We sunk into the middle. Thanks again for the wonderful get away.

Roach family fourth of July getaway.

Quick access to the beach. Comfortable and clean accomodations. Everything was accurately described in the listing. It's always nice to stay in the Gleneden beach area. Plenty of things to do north or south along the coast.

Disappointed

The place was dirty. Sand all over the floors as soon as we walked in. There are zero mats or foot scrapes at this place. So when you walk in there’s nothing to wipe your feet on as you enter. We honored the place by taking our shoes off to not track sand in, but walking around was insane and within a few steps you have sand covered feet even though you haven’t been to the beach yet. The kitchen is not equipped for anyone to stay and cook. Most of the kitchen tools are nylon and very melted from previous renters. Sorry, but I’m not going to eat melted nylon in my food. Why not spend $50 bucks to get silicone or wood kitchen tools. We found a nonstick pan that was so cut up and scratched that it was unusable. No BBQ grill either. Unfortunately a very important remote that was important for adjusting the TV volume was missing so we couldn’t turn up the TV, which was at zero, so we couldn’t watch any television. We texted the property management company but got no response. We looked everywhere for it, nowhere. Check in was 4pm. In the morning we asked for an early check in of 3pm and they said it would be a $50 fee. Seemed a little extreme, so we declined and stayed around the area. At 4:06pm, while on the way there, we received a text that they were running late and check in would be 5pm, so we turned around. Even though they wanted $50 to check in early, we weren’t offered any kind of $50 dollar reimbursement for their lateness.

Fit our Needs

We were meeting friends from Montana who rented several homes in the Bella Beach neighborhood. We could not find a comparable place there but found this place only 5 minutes away. It was just hubby and I and worked out perfect for us. Made a couple of breakfasts, sat out on front deck one evening, I stayed one day and worked while he went deep sea fishing. Only complaint was that the master bedroom had a "plastic" cover on the mattress that was loud and annoying.

So close to wonderful beach!

Loved this house. Comfortable for a family with adults, teen kids and a toddler. Beautiful renovation, awesome kitchen appliances, pots/pans, comfy beds, and walked to the beach every day in about a minute. Would stay again!

Perfect little getaway

Oregon Beach Vacation can suck it

Lock box code was changed, didn't work. OBV called "emergency maintenance" said 15 minutes, we waited 45 with dogs and raining. Entered unit and had another issue, called OBV again on hold awhile. Took a message for a call back on issue and never received a call back. Never renting from that management company again!

The property was great. Close to the beach and located centrally to all the places we wanted to visit. My only complaint; could be a bit cleaner. Reached for my shoes under the bed and saw numerous empty cans, socks and trash. But overall, very happy with the rental.

Overall we had a very nice time. The property was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all of the tools needed to cook for the week. The fridge was a bit loud and the filter on the furnace closet needed to be cleaned.

ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! HORRID!!!!

There is no way on earth this place had been cleaned for our stay, let alone in the last several months. There was hair and sand in the beds. Feces on the toilet and the bathroom light switch. A comb with a hairball left on the kitchen table with cat foot. There was something stuck to the floor that would not come off. There were no cleaning supplies, not even hand sanitizer or soap in the bathrooms. We arrived after 10 pm and the stores were closed. We could not go to bed until after 1 am when we had washed all of the bedding. This is only the beginning. There is much more. Do not stay here!!!! We will be requesting a full refund as well as terminating our future customer affiliation with this company.

Clean it to enjoy it

Upon arrival I found the house hadn’t been cleaned. I spent money & time to get some cleaning supplies. The dining table had crumbs & so did the toaster & counter. The floors & furniture had a lot of sand & pet hair. I spent two hours cleaning the house. Thank goodness my family arrived late. The house met our needs and after the initail start (my cleaning) of our vacation we all had a good time.
