"My room was dirty and filthy around the couch and dressers. The let out couch had no sheets or covers. The matress and couch pillows were nasty with stains on the couch and matress. The ac was loud and the vent was damaged with missing pieces from the cover. 2 TV's only 1 remote control, dresser drawers were broken and damaged. "

"This location is a short walk away from Sprecher Brewery and Solly's Grille. Both of these are local, historical, family friendly, dining experiences that you can only get in Milwaukee. Being so close to both of these and right off the highway made this Holiday Inn location the optimal spot to stay for a casual trip."

"Great location right off the interstate. Rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was recently built and was very nice. All of the staff were friendly and kind. The only comment I would have is regarding the use of a "barn door" style door for the bathroom in the rooms. It did not lock and it is easy to pinch fingers. I don't know if they have these in all the rooms, but I would not think these are kid friendly. Other than that I would definitely recommend."

"I took my daughter to see Wicked. We had a wonderful girls weekend! We were able to walk to the theatre, we took a boat tour and explored downtown. I didn’t have to drive anywhere. I also love the free breakfast and dinner! "

"My stay at the hotel was a very good experience. The check-in was very easy and the room was clean and also offered a kitchenette, which was very convenient across the street was a small convenience store, which was very nice to have in order to be able to use the kitchenette. "Comfortable Hotel. Very pleasant stay. Great room with a refreshing and nicely tiled bathroom. That evening prior to going to a Summerfest event I had a delicious Turkey BLT. I also had breakfast the next morning I asked for a waffle with berries on top along with chicken sausage. The server and the kitchen created a perfect breakfast for me. Thank you Iron Horse Hotel for taking such great care of me!"

"Beautiful building in a great location! Meticulously clean rooms and friendly staff made the stay better. However, the front office manager, Lindsay Alberte, surprised us with an anniversary treat and note sent to our room after casually chatting during check-in. "Travelled to Milwaukee to attend a 50th Birthday party event in Crown Plaza, for convenience I stayed in the same property. The event was organized in excellent way, food was delicious, prompt service and drinks. My stay was also very comfortable. This property is very spacious with Restaurants,Bar,Starbucks Cafe and also a Indoor swimming pool, hot bath tub and gym."
