"Uniquely positioned the cottage was a tranquil place to stay. There is a nice roomy bedroom and an efficient shower. We did struggle with some electrical items, we couldn't seem to work the heating, they are obviously on a separate electric supply as just switching them on doesn't do anything until the follow day when the switch is then lit and some heat is coming out. But we didn't want the heat in the day and it never seemed to throw out any heat in the evening.The other problematical thing...

"Great place to stay in Wick, literally a home away from home. Bread, butter, milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise on arrival. Every amenity you could expect. The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Communication excellent and responsive throughout. Highly recommended."

"A really lovely, individual and peaceful property which felt like a home from home. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Gorgeous views of Mey Castle from the coastal path. Lots of local walks and coast to enjoy. Dunnet head and beach only 10 minute drive away. The property had everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen to two lovely log burners, one with built in oven (there is also a normal oven in the property). A very helpful and kind owner.
