"Super nice room. The bathroom was super small. The sink is probably of the same size as an airplane. We loved the little patio and walking distance to the waterfall. Breakfast was super nice, especially the coffee machine. You pay $3000 isk plus 7.5% service fee ($25 usd) for breakfast per person. "

"Acco guesthouse is a great walkable distance from a handful of dining options and shopping. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom however, was quite tight. The shower ledge takes up a lot of room even though the shower is very small. The ledge also had a decent size chunk out of it which was a big hazard when we had just woken up in the morning and weren’t used to our surroundings. "

"Thora & Ivar are very welcoming. They have a lovely home, very modern and well maintained. Very clean. Easy 10 min drive into town. Highly recommend. "

"After a long, exhausting drive from the East, my family & I arrived in Akureyri around 1:00 am. We were completely exhausted after driving from the South & just ready to get some rest. However, our check-in hit a small bump -- we were given the wrong code to our apartment & couldn’t get in. Thankfully, when I called the staff, he responded quickly & provided a new code. "Their is a common fridge that is very well appreciated where you may leave your unused food and condiment, peanut butter, beer, jelly, butter was found. It was very helpful and eco friendly, we were able to complete our dinner and breakfast. Place is clean and quiet with a good view over the mountains and city. "
