La maison est une ancienne ferme rénovée. Elle est magnifique, elle a beaucoup de charme, avec deux chambres indépendantes dans le jardin, une salle à manger d été, et une jolie piscine . Nous avons passé 8 jours très agréables en famille dans cette belle maison.

Lovely

Beautiful property very close to Gharb with a lovely country feel. The gardens and pool were a highlight and we enjoyed eating al fresco on many evenings.

Schönes Haus

Schöner Garten mit super Pool. Für kleine Kinder die nicht schwimmen können eher nicht geeignet. Fussläufig gute Restaurants. Bester Strand Ramla Bay mit Mietauto innert 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Gozo ist kleine Insel ideal für aufenthalt von 1-2 Wochen.

My sister found the property and booked I had no idea what to expect until I turned up. Pleasantly suprised It was just what I needed. The grounds were perfect, lots of shade which was needed. The house is the typical rustic Gozo Charm. Simply beautiful. I will return again.

Wonderful stay in a charming villa

As per the advertisement, the accommodation is exactly as shown. It's a large, clean house with a beautiful pool and all the described amenities. There's easy free parking just a few meters from the villa. The house is located on the enchanting island of Gozo, which is very quiet and has beautiful beaches. Everything is reachable within a maximum of 20 minutes by car. The very kind and helpful owner assisted us with everything, from our arrival to our departure, recommending restaurants etc. The only possible improvement would be the lack of air conditioning. In the villa, there are very powerful fans in each room that provide good ventilation, but air conditioning is necessary in the months of July and August. Final rating for the stay: 9/10. Recommended!

Einige Zusatztipps

Garten mit vielen Kakteen und Pool (Achtung: überall tief) sind wirklich wunderschön. Nachts hört man Grillen und Esel. Wir fanden das Haus für nur vier Personen zu gross, es hat auch für 10 Personen Platz. Allerdings fanden wir die zwei Zimmer im Keller zu dunkel und es hatte Moskitos und Fliegen. Wir zügelten deshalb in die beiden Gartenbungalows und das obere Zimmer im Haus; die sind sehr schön. Die Küche dürfte mal entrümpelt werden, wir fanden sie nicht allzu sauber. WLAN hat es nur an einem Ort im Haus. Gharb ist ein ziemlich toter Ort. Es gibt einen guten Store, Lighthouse. In Victoria (ca. 4 km) ist abends auch nicht allzu viel los. Um an Strände zu gelangen (uns hat Ramblas gut gefallen), braucht es ein Fahrzeug. Wir nutzten den ÖV, was recht gut ging. Es gibt eine App, die die stündlichen Verbindungen aufzeigt. Die Station ist 5-10 Min. vom Haus entfernt und die Busse sind pünktlich. Auch Taxis sind nicht allzu teuer und über Internet einfach bestellbar.

The house is a traditional house with a beautiful garden with sea view. The house is large which is great if you are with a large group. House of character with many stairs. Not everything is accessible for older people or the disabled and therefore less suitable. The dated kitchen has everything but is simply equipped. There are 3 bathrooms. We had problems with hot water and water pressure. Easy to solve afterwards, but ask for instructions on arrival. The bathrooms cannot be used simultaneously and the shower drain in the outer bathroom does not run through .. When we arrived, the covers on the sunbeds had not been washed. We had to do this ourselves. There are not enough towels for the whole week, you have to wash them yourself in the meantime in the available washing machine. The pool in the large garden is lovely. The garden offers a lot of privacy and is beautifully lit at night. Despite the fact that we encountered some defects, we had a wonderful holiday. The characterful house with beautiful garden immediately gives you that holiday feeling.

Wunderschönes gepflegtes altes Landhaus mit Traumgarten

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem tollen Haus. Es ist alles mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und der Garten inkl. Pool ist ein Traum. Das ganze Team um Barbara ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!

Calme et farniente

Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant à 10 dans cette grande demeure face à la méditerranée. L'île de Gozo est très calme et la maison est parfaite pour que chacun y trouve un espace de repos et de détente. Si vous aimez le calme absolu et le côté rustique et authentique d'une demeure de village alors cette location est faites pour vous.

Maison posée dans un environnement calme et reposant : nous recommandons

Maison de configuration atypique ou l’on ressent un dépaysement total. Le jardin est d’un agrément formidable qui permet de se sentir loin de la ville. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine dans nos périodes de voyage mais elle est bien exposée. On manque de rien ! Une propriétaire qui est au petit soin pour ses hôtes ;) Nous voyagions pour faire de la plongée et nous avons trouvé un centre de taille humaine tenu par Jocob Mizzi à Dwejra , materiels et entretiens d’une qualité irréprochable , professionnalisme et sécurité assuré !
