Beautiful and Quiet

This guest room in a beautifully renovated old home was perfect for our weekend wine country stay. Off the beaten path it was so wonderfully quiet yet close to everything. Whoever decorated/designed the room has great taste! In addition although there’s no kitchen, the hosts provided a small fridge and microwave— stocked with breakfast items and snacks. We will be back!

Exquisite

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at this lovely property. The room was spacious, beautifully but comfortably decorated, and was certainly the most well-appointed room that I've ever had the pleasure of staying in (games, movies, magazines, restaurant recommendations and menus, snacks, toiletries, soft and fluffy towels, etc.). It was quite cool at night while we were there, so we especially enjoyed the fireplace. It was very quiet and is conveniently located to Healdsburg and surrounding wineries/tasting rooms. Our host, Larry, was very responsive and helpful. We were sad to leave and are looking forward to a return visit!

Tasteful and convenient

This property exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully appointed and the hosts were generous in their recommendations and in the offerings they provided for snacks, breakfast and happy hour. The area is breathtaking and convenient to vineyards and dining options. You can’t go wrong if you stay at this property. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful Stay Outside Healdsburg

My wife and I just completed a two night stay for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time! The location is nestled in the vineyards in the heart of Alexander Valley and makes a good base for wine tasting in and around Healdsburg. The rental was well appointed, comfortable and as advertised. The owner was responsive when needed and we will definitely come back soon!

very convenient for wine tasting

My husband and I have stayed in this suite two years in a row now. Both times we were in Alexander Valley for a dinner in the wine cave at Alexander Valley Vineyards, which is a convenient drive just up the road. The bed is very comfortable and the owners have provided everything you could possibly need or want during your stay. All of the arrangements (reservation, check in, check out, anything you need while you are there) are handled via text message with Larry and he responds almost immediately. We will definitely stay here again for future visits!

10 stars isn’t enough! This was like staying in the most luxurious 5 star hotel. Everything was perfect. We didn’t want to leave! Perfect location for wine tasting and exploring the beautiful area. The room was lovely with wonderful linens and plenty of snacks. The fireplace was cozy and romantic. They even provided maid service every day! There was nothing more we could have asked for. Can’t wait to return!

As Good As Advertised!

Beautiful bedding. Attention to detail on everything…. Shower; coffee maker; small fridge with yogurt, wine and milk for the coffee; and a short drive to Healdsburg. Can’t ask for anything more!

Lovely Wine Country Stay

So many upgrades! Perfect for couples

This is a truly special property. Beautiful outdoor spaces, very convenient location for enjoying all of Sonoma wine country, extremely well appointed suite. Extremely. Been home for a couple weeks and I'm still thinking about how comfortable and luxurious the bed was, the beautiful bathroom, and the private patio among the vineyard. Everything is upgraded. It is a lower level with a completely private entrance with private parking and the hosts went out of their way to give us privacy - we barely knew they were there. Hosts were accomodating and helpful but left us alone, striking the right balance. This place is a true escape. It was perfect to celebrate our milestone anniversary. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, and hope to stay again!

Magical...

This is hands down my favorite VRBO ever. I loved the location, the comfortable bed, the decor, the bathroom, and the incredibly thoughtful details (snacks, waters, wine, etc), and the accommodating, helpful hosts. We would be DELIGHTED to stay here again. It is even better than the pics. It is a great value. One thing we will do differently next time is find a driver before we arrive as we had a very hard time getting Ubers to pick up at this location. (Not a deal killer at all - just something to help you plan.).

Sonoma get away

Quiet and quaint area north of Healdsburg in Sonoma valley. The studio is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Larry and Dee are very thoughtful, supplying breakfast food and snacks. Room was tidied and restocked daily. Stayed a week and enjoyed bike riding, local restaurants and 3 wine tastings at Jordan and Silver Oaks (locally) and Duckhorn in Napa. Great 40th Anniversary getaway!

We loved everything about it!

First of all the description and pics are accurate to a T. We enjoyed the location about 10 mins outside of Healdsburg and Geyserville. There are great wineries around and two you can walk to. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed the gas fireplace and sitting outside amongst the 100 year of grape vines. This is the first VRBO that has had daily maid service which was nice to not deal with that each day. We are most definetly going come back for a stay in the near future.

Comfortable and with so many thoughtful touches

We had a truly exceptional stay at this guest suite! The suite was so comfortable and well appointed, and had literally everything we could ask for and more. We were blown away by the many thoughtful amenities— a stocked mini-fridge with complementary food and drinks, coffee bar, full bathroom with beautiful marble shower and a collection of shampoos and other toiletries, the list goes on… It really felt like everything, down to the tiniest details, was designed with the guest in mind. To our pleasant surprise, every day our room was cleaned and reset. There is a beautiful patio area just outside of the French doors of the suite that is surrounded by vineyards, the perfect place for a morning coffee. The location was beautiful, accessible, and close to everything. If we didn’t have a wedding to go to, we probably would have stayed at the suite all day because it was so relaxing. We felt incredibly lucky to stumble across this Vrbo. Thank you for a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning!

PERFECT!

My 23 yr old daughter and I stayed here for a long week-end. Larry and Dee have truly thought of everything!! Their property is immaculately clean, cozy bed, great air conditioning for hot days, stunning outdoor space for cool evenings, incredible WIFI for the working vacation. You are in the middle of quiet vineyard country with Healdsburg only a couple miles away. Just book it!

The Gem

When you find a gem, you have rave about it. We didn’t expect to literally be staying in a vineyard, to have a patio that at night provided that amazing sky, being greeted by the morning harbingers each day and that delicious afternoon breeze. This gem is located at the junction of California 128 and Alexander Valley Road, so you’re minutes away from some of the area’s most enjoyable wineries, and a short ten minutes away from Healdsburg. If you’re venturing further there is of course CA 128 for a short drive to Calistoga or St. Helena or the 101 nearby. You just can’t do better if this is the area for you. The guest suite: words like immaculate, flawless, and pristine fail to do it justice. The host’s attention to detail and comfort were perfect. The necessities were all there. The bed, bedding, and arrangement off the charts (when your 28-year veteran interior designer wife gets excited, then you know you can endorse). And a bathroom filled with fluffy soft luxurious bathroom linens! The area information provided by the knowledgeable hosts, spot on. Easily the best guest suite we’ve stayed at globally. In the hotel category, a five star.

Six Stars

If I could give it 6 stars I would. The property and room was “top of the line”. It was a nice quiet private location, luxury decor, snacks, and everything you need after a long day on the tasting trail (including spruce up service daily). Larry was such a great host, and the entire rental, check in, stay, and check out process was awesome. Thanks for sharing your property and making our stay perfect.
