"Really good hotel in great location , access via city by car is terrible due to acc road restrictions and Hydro Electric works around this part of the city , zero parking at this hotel , nerby car parks are card payments only and quite far away , no good for those woth amy mobilty issue's. "The Malmaison is set in the heart of Aberdeen within walking distance of the city centre . It has a unique boutique vibe and has had a recent lavish refurbishment. The restaurant is very popular and can be very busy at the weekend in particular so be sure to book. The one slight drawback is that there is limited parking onsite and lots of parking restrictions in the area . "

"The Highland Hotel (now merged with the Brentwood Hotel next door) is on Crown Street, less than ten minutes walk from Aberdeen bus and train station. It is just off Union Street which is the main central street in Aberdeen (the equivalent of Princes Street, Edinburgh - sort of!). We stayed for 3 days, breakfast included. The room, towels, and bed linen were spotless. But the whole hotel is 'tired'. There is no lift, but the reception man will carry up the cases for you. Usual tea and biscuits...

"Alle negatieve reviews stellen zich een beetje aan, is het hotel nieuw, nee. Is het hotel een 5 sterren ervaring, ook niet. Maar daar is de prijs ook naar, op een locatie vlak bij het trein station en het centrum! Het enigste nadeel was dat de kamer (en eigenlijk het hele gebouw) heel warm was. Verder alles netjes in orde!"

"This was an amazing property. The history of the hotel dates back to 1200. It was a very up market experience, our room overlooked the fresh clean running river. The room felt like I was in a room in a castle and the bathroom was beautiful as well. The meal experience in the restaurant was such a 5 star experience. I recommend if you want a unique 5 star experience stay at Maryculter hotel. "
