Absolute worst

Stayed for my 2 year anniversary with my husband and I am almost positive the cabin has termites or something along that line because every morning we woke up to wood debris on the floor after I had swept it every morning and when we came back at the end of the evening it would be right back again so I swept again then in the morning it would be there again! There were dead ants everywhere on the floor a very bad spider problem! Reached out to Heather and she sent the house keeper out once and never responded to me again about the rest of the issues even sent her picture proof of everything! Box spring is broken so made the bed uncomfortable. Not a Mountain View at all just wooded view! Hot tub was nice and surprisingly clean!

Our stay was great!

Our stay was great! Loved the guitar hook on the wall since my fiancé plays and actually brought his guitar with him! Loved the privacy/ location! However did not love all the spiders and spider nests on the deck. Made us uncomfortable while trying to use the hot tub and have intimate time on the deck due to us feeling like spiders were crawling on us. Overall, I would stay there again but definitely will bring spider spray next time!

Overall pleasant experience!

Overall this was a great place and great weekend! Cabin was warm and cozy and everything was ready for us. Only issue was water was not very warm throughout the cabin. Made showering difficult but hot tub works great! Thank you!

Wouldn't stay again

We have stayed at alot of cabins. Each year for our anniversary we get one. This one has by far been the worse. When we arrived, no air was on and it had a very musky smell. We get settled in then go out to grab dinner. Once we returned, we notice there was a dehumidifier in the bedroom. Looking down we saw all kinds of mold everywhere on the floor. Running from the refrigerator to along side the bed and up the door frame. The owner did text to ask if we got checked in ok and if everything was OK, I responded about the mold. Then no response until 10am check out time the next day.. And no acknowledgement of my return text. Some other things were the bed was small (I would say a double bed) and uncomfortable. Only one set of towels for 2 of us. I don't reuse my towel every time I shower. The couch was uncomfortable as it was hard thin cushions. The Roku TV was hard to figure out and the remote only worked if you were right up on the sensor on the TV. Oh and I really didn't like that I had to use my HULU account to watch TV. IT just wasn't a good experience.

Fairly private and secluded

The property was exactly as advertised. We misjudged the number of curvy roads, but that was our fault. Loved that there were only 3 steps into the cabin (I don't walk well.) Beautiful area. Was very pleasant sitting in the hot tub, watching the woods.

Bugs

Nice cabin but there was dead and alive bugs everywhere in the cabin. Had to walk around with shoes on the whole time. Really unsatisfied with how unclean the cabin was with bugs on the floor, walls, and ceiling.

Nice cabin

It was an nice cabin but it was not as clean as I thought it would be. Their was hair in the bed, bugs everywhere, trash still in the trash cans. It’s a great size for a couple we did love the hot tube. I did like how we where alone. But other than that it was perfect.

K & S Smokey Mtn Vacation 2021

The cabin was the right size for a couples get away. At first we thought it was a little far out from everything , but once we got use to the roads and our way around it was ok. The hot tub wasn’t what we expected, and didn’t look very clean. And it was very noisy at night being right next to the bedroom, it would wake you up during the night running. The grass around the cabin definitely needed mowing. The host Heather was great and when we first got there we had an issue with a rug, she had it replaced within minutes. Thank you Heather for all of your corespondents with us to make this a good vacation.

Perfect little cabin in the woods

This was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for a wedding. It was cozy, clean, private and easy to get to. Looking forward to booking again when we can come back and stay longer.

Beautiful Location

Our Experince was great it was very quiet easy to find and very private. Me and the wife will more then likely be coming here agian. Best part was the Hot tub is in a private setting and coverd so you can enjoy it even if it rains...

What a Mistake

What a way to spend Christmas. No electricity no heat no fire wood no food and a cabin owner that could care less. We were hoping for a nice quiet Christmas in the mountains but instead we got snowed in and no way out. Less than 45 minutes after arriving at the cabin the electricity went out. We would have thought that firewood would have been provided but that would have been too easy. We contacted the owner and he was of no assistance. He said he could get some firewood brought up to us but nobody ever showed. His excuse was that everywhere ran out of firewood. In the mountains? There’s a firewood place on every street corner. Then he came up with the bright idea that he would put us up in a hotel room for the night. How were we going to get down the side of a mountain in a snowstorm ? The second day rolls around after spending the night frozen and we contact the owner about when the electricity was coming back on. He seemed shocked. He said that power was already restored. Not in our cabin. So instead of freezing another night we decided to attempt to get down the mountain. Luckily we made it. We contacted the owner and told him we were not stay another night and instead of offer a free hotel room for the night he said he would offer one night stay at the cabin that had to be used within 90 days. Wow. The night before he offers a free night when he knew there was no way to get down off the mountain but now that he knows that we did make it down the mountain not being was offered. I would not waste your money stay at this joke of cabin. We have stayed in numerous cabins in pigeon forge and never had an issue. The cabin is not stocked in any way not even salt and pepper! We had no way to cook and no way to stay warm. The owner / assistant was of no help and no concern for our safety. As owners you’d think they’d have their occupants safety as a top priority!!! Please look past this rental !! Go to other reputable sites that have the renters safety and happiness as a top priority!!!

Ridge Top

We spent the night in the Ridge Top cabin, it was very clean and accommodating. It was a very cozy little cabin, perfect for a little getaway! Will return.

Awesome place to stay near Gatlinburg

This was such an amazing experience staying near the great smoky mountains! The cabin feel was so much better than staying in a hotel. The private deck with a hot tub was nice for the cold weather evenings. Only a short drive from Gatlinburg and very private. I would definitely recommend staying here!
