"This is a wonderful “back to nature” experience. It is in the rainforest - expect rainforest conditions. The staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The property is in an amazing location but needs a little updating while I appreciate that there is constant moisture in the air, some areas could be updated / painted and maintained a little better. "We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama. Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable. The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was. "There really needs to be a microwave in the rooms, particularly the higher-priced rooms. I understand that the hotel wants to encourage spending at their restaurant or on their overpriced snacks, but people expect microwaves these days as a minimal amenity."
