Our family of 6 stayed in the "Luxury Villa on the beach" for 4 nights (Dec '25) and had a fantastic stay!! The villa is extremely comfortable, plenty of space to relax & unwind. Tharanga is an exceptional house manager, friendly and professional... provided great suggestions and advice throughout our stay. We were incredibly fortunate to enjoy beautiful food & hospitality from Tharanga and her team (Chandrika and Dissna)... delicious breakfasts and Sri Lankan food (thank you!!!). The villa is a short ride into Hikkaduwa for cafe's, beaches & activities. We were fortunate to spend New Year at a local beach restaurant (walking distance) ... a fantastic night, thanks Tharanga for that suggestion!! I would highly recommend Tharanga as an amazing host and Luxury Villa as a great place to stay and relax!!!

We had an amazing holiday at this villa. The hospitality from beginning to end was exceptional. Tharanga and her team looked after us beautifully and always greeted us with genuine smiles and kindness.Everything was perfectly organised. Local fishermen brought fresh food, which Tharanga and her girls prepared for us. When my daughter asked for a chocolate milkshake, it was immediately arranged. I enjoyed delicious daily smoothies, and we always had everything we needed. We were never disturbed, yet the team was always there whenever we needed help — the perfect balance of privacy and care.Everyone was wonderful, but a very special thank you goes to Tharanga. She handled every request with ease, helped organise massages, and made sure our stay was absolutely perfect.Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. Wonderful stay. The house staff is amazing. Thuranga and Asanka were always helpful and ready to assist if needed. The meals, while not compulsory, were well worth having. If you want a taste of Sri Lanka culture and cuisine, this is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Galle respite

This place was a true gem for my wife and me. Tharanga and the rest of the staff blessed us beyond and always with an infectious smile. The meals prepared were amazing too. The pool and garden area was very well taken care and perfect for swim laps. When we return to SriLanka, we will want to make this a another stay:)

Wonderful holiday

Firstly, the communication with the owner, Jean-Marc, was excellent from the time of booking until the last day of our holiday. The villa was clean and spacious and the garden beautiful and immaculately maintained. The location was good, easy to get to Galle and Hikkaduwa by tuk tuk!In agreement with other previous reviews, the staff were absolutely amazing! Looked after us so well and it felt like they were our family, especially Tharanga and Nimalie! Tharanga managed everything and arranged our trips out and everything we needed! Nimalie cooked us wonderful food and always with a happy smile. The boys looked after the garden and pool and had a good rapport with our son of the same age. We all cried when we had to leave. We had a special evening with the owners and staff, which we enjoyed very much! Thank you all at Beach Mansion, your hospitality and kindness made our holiday unforgettable and we hope to see you all again in the future Jo, Datta, Sunni & Emma

Ein traumhafter Urlaub!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa, den wir den beiden Damen des Hauses zu verdanken haben! Kulinarisch wurden wir täglich verwöhnt von der einheimischen Küche Sri Lankas, wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern, alles wurde für uns erledigt und auf Wunsch wurden auch Tagestrips geplant. Vom Haus ist alles schnell und einfach zu erreichen, die Villa bietet einen phantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Wir sind nach unserem dreiwöchigen Urlaub unglaublich erholt zurückgekommen und sind sehr dankbar, dort gewesen zu sein und die Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit im Haus erleben zu dürfen.

Paradise

We stayed in the Beach Mansion for 10 nights and we wished we could have stayed much longer. The house and its facilities are fantastic. After a roundtrip in Sri Lanka we wanted to work (online) during our stay. The house is perfectly suited for just that, but it is also very easy to relax and enjoy all the house and the surroundings offer. The house is very clean, spacious. AC in the 3 bedrooms. A great veranda and superb view of the ocean. The pool is very clean and nice. Jean Marc, the owner, was very responsive and friendly. What makes Beach Mansion a 5+ star villa are the staff. Sanjay, Tharanga, Nimalie and Ganga did their utmost to make our stay very very special. They cooked fantastic meals, did groceries, took care of us in general. They made us feel incredibly welcome, and were professional and very warm at the same time. The photos are a very adequate description of the house. For us it was the first time to stay in a private villa with a staff like Beach Mansion offers. The staff are discreet and professional, friendly and warm. Our advice is to just experience it and enjoy your time. If we have a chance, we will definitely come back!

Beach Mansion Villa

This was our 5th visit to Sri-Lanka, we always stay in Private Villas and have had some wonderful experiences, but also, some pretty bad ones. But Beach Mansion Villa is up there with the best of them, really clean, spacious, good location, good communication with the owner, but I have saved the best until last, the staff are amazing, they are discreet, but really pleased to make the holiday special, and the food, wow, what great food, from the fisherman turning up at 8:00am, with the catch of the day, to the amazing meal served in the evening, nothing fresher, nothing tastier. Sanjay the Manager, all I can say about him is that if I had a villa, I would want him managing mine, he is brilliant, the Girls, Tharnga, Ganga and Nimale, fantastic, if we come back next year, we are booking the same location. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special. Lastly, we were lucky enough to meet some wonderful puppies, who initially shy, welcomed us every day when we went out of the secured gate where the river and sea merge.

Wow wow wow

What an amazing holiday, if you want to forget about work and house work and be treated like kings and queens this is the place to stay. They call themselves staff but felt like family Sanjay could not do enough for us and helped us see the beautiful Sri Lanka. When we were there it was my husband's birthday and they made it so special even bought him a personalised cake balloons and fireworks wine and a lovely meal. If you want a relaxing retreat this is the place. Everyone made us welcome I cried when they said goodbye to us. The girls even braided my hair, got to mention Jack the dog who was fantastic felt like home from home. Thank you for a fantastic holiday

Gintota Villa

Firstly I must say that Sanjeev the property manager and the house staff were lovely, helpful, kind and polite. The surrounding area has a boho vibe and it is cheap to eat out. Galle and Hikkaduwa are close by via tuk tuk, slightly more expensive but still reasonable and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Whereas we were aware that there was housekeeping and a manager on site, it was not clear until we arrived that the manager Sanjeev actually lives in the basement and the housekeepers/cooks are there most of the daytime. We have stayed at other villas where there has been housekeeping (one hour max) and a manager on site (in close proximity but not in the same building) so it was easy for us to misinterpret this and should be made much clearer. Despite the staff being lovely and trying their best to be discreet, it did not sit comfortably with us being waited on hand and foot and the poor staff being there at our beck and call. We felt we were unable to stock our own fridge and cook our own meals without fear of offending the staff. My teenage daughter was embarrassed to use the pool and ventured into it just once which is unheard of. Maybe it is just a British thing, maybe we are too reserved but we always opt for a villa to enjoy the freedom to come and go as we please and we felt a little constrained here. Other nationalities may love it and maybe many Brits too but I thought it was worth highlighting our experience so that others can make an informed choice.

Séjour exceptionnel

Villa moderne avec une vue superbe sur l’océan. Très grandes chambres avec une excellente literie toutes équipées de climatisation et de ventilateurs. Piscine à débordement dans un jardin superbement entretenu. L’équipe sur place de 4 personnes est disponible pour toutes vos demandes. Bravo à eux : des personnes discrètes et gentilles qui font tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Les petits déjeuners, inclus dans le prix de la nuit, sont fabuleux : tous les jours des jus de fruits frais différents . Quel délice !! Jean Marc, le propriétaire a été très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions aussi bien avant que durant notre séjour et il nous a même permis un départ différé tenant compte de notre vol de retour tardif. Je conseille vivement cette villa pour partir à la découverte du Sri Lanka

Paradise un Sri Lanka

Quelle meilleure façon de découvrir les charmes du Sri Lanka si ce n’est séjourner chez Jean-Marc. Un hôte exceptionnel même à distance dont l’équipe sur place gère avec professionnalisme et sympathie le quotidien. La villa est superbe, idéalement située, avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan. Ses équipements - literie, clim, insonorisation, sound system, électroménager….. - sont parfaits tout comme la propreté impeccable de la villa. Petit-déjeuner fabuleux! Bref, séjour de rêve, dans villa de rêve, avec hôtes de rêve! Un grand MERCI // Tamara, Julie, Anne, Antoine, Emmanuel, Hugues.
