Welcome to the Galena Chalet. This beautiful vacation home features 3 levels, 2 living rooms, 2 decks and a screened-in porch. Located in the Galena Territory, which is known for world class golf, you will enjoy Country Club living at its finest. As our guests, you will have access to the Owner's Club, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center & game room for kids. Also, enjoy hiking, boating, fishing and horseback riding. 20 min to downtown Galena or to Chestnut Ski Mountain.

MAIN LEVEL:
Take advantage of this home’s main level indoor and outdoor living areas. Relax by the cozy fireplace with picturesque views. There is a Guest Bedroom (Queen bed) and a full bathroom.

UPSTAIRS:
Retreat upstairs to the Primary Suite (King bed) and ensuite bathroom. The landing upstairs also has a sofa bed that could sleep an additional guest if needed.

LOWER LEVEL:
Downstairs, enjoy another living area with a walk-out patio and more amazing views…There’s not a bad view anywhere in the house. Another large Guest Bedroom (2 Full beds) is located on the lower level with access to a full bathroom. The additional living space has a sectional couch and TV.

OTHER NOTES:
• Guests have access to Owner’s club with: indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, indoor sport court for basketball/pickle-ball/etc, game room with billiards/ping pong/bumper pool/etc, and an arcade room
• 4 Award Winning Golf Courses
• Miles of hiking trails and waterfall
• Lake Galena offers fishing and boating. Kayaks and pontoons can be rented from the Galena Territory
• Shenandoah Riding Center for all ages: Trail Rides, Wagon Rides, Line Leads and special events like the rodeo
• Our property comes with 6 proximity cards. These will be needed to access the owner’s club. Additional cards are available for purchase for $5/day at The Owner’s Club Administrative Office
• 15-20 minute drive to historic downtown Galena on Main Street with charming stores and great dining. 20-25 minutes to Chestnut Mountain for Alpine Slides, Zip lining, Biking in the summer and Skiing in the winter
• Blink motion detector with camera in front of the house with view of driveway
• Flexible check in/out if not booked

The Galena territory was away from town to feel the quiet aspect, but close enough a trip to town was not inconvenient. The owners communicated well and responded quickly to inquiries throughout the week. The house was clean.

Wonderful!

This was our second stay at this property and we had a wonderful time, just as the first time. The house has everything you might need and is very specious and clean. The communication with the owner is fast and any issues or questions are addressed very fast. Highly recommended!

This house had everything we could have needed for a short weekend away. Very comfortable rooms each with their own bathroom, and plenty of community space to gather and relax. Owner communication was great. There was easy access to hiking, pool, and downtown Galena.

The Galena Chalet was the perfect place for four girlfriends to stay & enjoy the Galena Country Fair. Loved that we each got our own bed & there were 3 baths with showers in all of them! Spacious living areas, dining & kitchen. Very clean & well maintained home. We would definitely return here.

This home was beautiful! Looked exactly as pictures. They had all amenities you could need. The only thing you had to bring was your clothes and any groceries you might need. Very close to Galena. We loved everything about it. Will definitely reach out to rent again.

Love this property. The Galena Territory is awesome - kids loved the community center (maybe mom liked the ping pong too). Beds were comfy and my kids said this property has 'the best' blankets. Only small complaint would be the basement was chilly - they did provide a space heater. Host even is going to look for a lost item and mail it back if found.

The home was as described and beautiful. There was a group of 5 of us staying and it turned out to be perfect for our needs. We used the enclosed porch which was nice to have. I would say the only downside was taking the trash off the property but we followed the rules as stated. I would most likely stay here again regardless.

This home is so nice!! Set in the beautiful Galena Territory on a nice quiet cul-de-sac. The home is beautifully appointed inside and very comfortable & cozy. Kitchen is FULLY stocked with anything and everything you need. 5 ⭐️ water pressure🥳 Awesome screened in porch off the back for quiet coffee time with nature. Inside cool and comfy. 5⭐️ AC!! Calm and Cozy

We loved the house layout, decor, lots of spaces to sit and relax. The colors were calming and fresh. We are so used to staying in golf themed houses! This was a welcome change of atmosphere. Nice location close to the horseback riding, Belden School fairy garden walk, Hoof It Goat Trek and hot air balloon fest. We didn’t have time to use the owners pool, but love that towels were provided by the homeowners. We had a wonderful Father’s Day Weekend.
