The Inn is beautiful and all of the amenities are wonderful. The room is in desperate need of a deep clean. The sinks and tub are particularly neglected. The arms of the chair upholstery are worn and dirty. The bedspread and pillows are in need of laundering. I loved the jet tub and the fireplace and it has a wonderful view.

Beautiful location, not as clean as could be

The check in and check out process was very easy, the location is beautiful and the room is cute. Unfortunately, the room was not as clean as we would have liked. The sheets and pillowcases, especially the pillowcases, had a bad odor; smelled sour like laundry that had been left wet too long. Not at all pleasant to sleep on. I think it’s time for new sheets and new pillows as the odor made me feel unclean. The freezer in the mini fridge was dirty. Finally, some pest control is needed as we saw 2 insects in the bathroom; one on the wall by the toilet and the other in the shower.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean, nice little balcony. Good size with little kitchen.

Plenty of room and comfortable. It was quiet and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a good location to get to Galena and all the small towns and wineries in the area. The only thing is the shower is small and the water pressure could be stronger but for 2 days it was fine. I would stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Weekend Getaway

We had a pleasant stay at the Longhollow Inn. It was a short drive from Galena ans Dubuque -- where we spent a couple days exploring. It was an accessible building with a comfortable bed and large bathtub. There were many ladybugs hear the patio, but we were informed this is normal for the season. The fireplace procided a lovely warmth when the evenings cooled down. Thanks for your hospitality!

Overall, good. Some details, bad.

The amenities listed included a sauna. It was one of the reasons I picked this facility. When we arrived, the sauna was padlocked and had a STORAGE sign screwed to the door. Also, hot tub stopped working. Not a good look.

Cozy studio with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The space was comfortable, but the cleanliness could be improved. clean,comfortable stay

studio was exactly as described, very clean, no odors. this accomodation does not offer streaming tv, cable only (this is not in the amenities, but i always assume there is streaming /smart tv - my mentioning it is for information only); also - if a coffee drinker be sure to bring creamer. coffee maker is drip, and there was plenty of coffee. the bed was very comfortable, sheets were cozy. this is a 3rd floor studio, and it was incredibly peaceful and quiet.- and this was with a full house. we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book again.

The room itself is large! Has a jacuzzi hot tub with a 2 way fireplace. Small balcony overlooking the trees. I love the remote location. Pool, hottub. Community Sitting area. Room has small refrigerator and freezer and microwave. Great seating.
