Private 3BR/2BA Territory Home Nestled in the Trees - Stonecrest

Enjoy wooded views from all windows and the privacy needed for a great vacation. Our home features a wood-burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, screened in three-season room, as well as a deck. The main floor includes a master bedroom with full bath, kitchen and dining areas, and our comfortable living room. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and another full bath. Perfect for a quick getaway, a weekend of golf, or longer vacation to visit the beautiful Galena Territory

Furnished with everything you may need to dine in or out and with room to stretch. The property is on just over an acre with trees in every direction and right next to one of the many walking trails that go throughout the territory.

Home includes:
- 2 bedrooms with queen beds with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 1 bedroom with 2 twins with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 2 full bathrooms
- Kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and silverware you need if you want to cook in
- 65 inch Roku TV in the main living room plus a 43 inch Roku TV in each separate bedroom
- Gas grill available on deck
- Screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors even if it’s raining
- Keurig with pods included
- Board games to enjoy with your group
- If there are young children in your group, 2 Pack & Plays and high chairs are available as well as a small selection of kids eating utensils to make packing a breeze

There will be six Owner's Club Key cards hanging in the kitchen. With this card you will have access to the pools, fitness center, as well as the game room at the Galena Territory Owner's Club located at 2000 Territory Dr. Galena, IL.

Or enjoy downtown Galena for the day with great restaurants and shopping only 7 miles away! For winter fun and skiing there is also Chestnut Mountain Resort a short 13 mile drive from the home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! We were in town for skiing and a trip into Galena, both easily accessible. The house was perfectly maintained, clean, and well stocked. Tucked back off of a quiet road, it was a perfect weekend getaway. Howard had great communication up to and during our trip, always responding within minutes. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable house with a great host you have found it!

My cousin and I split the difference between Kansas City and the Upper Peninsula and this was the ideal spot to make that connection. The home is nestled in a lovely wooded setting and is an easy drive from Galena with all its historical and tourist attractions. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked. Lots of options provided for coffee and tea. I had some trouble getting the Keurig to work but Howard was very gracious when I called. It just took this old-timer figuring out which order to push the buttons. We especially enjoyed the screen porch for afternoon relaxing. Climbing the hill in the front yard to the house was a bit challenging when walking our dogs, so if you are planning on staying with pets and are not terribly physically fit, please be aware of this. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and think we may stay again.

We had a lovely stay in this well-appointed home. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of light, and the bathrooms had wonderful amenities (soap, bath wash etc). The kitchen had all you would need. We loved the deck and the great screened-in porch. Howard was wonderful to work with and responded promptly with great info about the area when we had a personal car issue. We were able to bring our dog, and it is a great location for a pet. Nice front lawn, and the house is located on a cul-de-sac, so walks are convenient and safe. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful property, nestled in a woodsy cul-de-sac area of Galena Territories. The hosts created a wonderful, comfortable, and very welcoming experience for our party of four and one night stay. The house was immaculate and very well appointed. We have stayed in many rental properties and I would rate this as one of the best in our experience.Everything was thought of, from crisp, clean linens to a high-quality hairdryer (!), toiletries. and blackout curtains for comfortable sleeping. Communication from the host was outstanding as were house instructions. We would love to return for a longer stay very soon.

What a lovely stay we had. We planned a girls trip to Galena. We found this to be a perfect location! The owners thought of everything you might need! They provide wonderful shampoo, body wash, toys for the children to play with, games for the adults, box fans, high chairs, and everything in the kitchen and the house is clean and well organized. The bedrooms were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

The home is beautiful and outrageously comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal or serve food with. Three bedrooms and all of the beds were very comfortable. The house is only about a ten to twelve minute drive from Galena, and it was just a perfect place to stay.

Sweet Family TIme

Howard and his family provided a wonderful place for our family and dog (Aussie) to get away for a couple of days. We were celebrating an early 40th anniversary one week before our daughter returns to college. I can't tell you what a great time we had this past week. He responded in such a timely manner to all our questions. From check-in to exit Howard insured that our stay would go well. The place is in a beautiful wooded secluded setting, yet close to Galena and all resort amenities. It was nice to get away and have the conveniences of home, that's what this place provided.

We could not have asked for a better experience with your beautiful home. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. The beds were extremely comfortable, and a tv in each bedroom was appreciated. Having Netflix was a great bonus! Loved the large, comfy sectional. The whole house was so clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the towels were nice and fluffy. We used the passes to the pool, and spent an afternoon cooling off in the beautiful pool. The screened porch was one of our favorite spots. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable - perfect for our visit to one of our favorite places, Galena. Thank you for sharing your home!
