Cozy location

We loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, and was well laid out. The kids loved the loft area. Kitchen adequately stocked with cooking utensils. The location outside of town is beautiful. We’re already planning on coming back!

Second time around, looking forward to a third

We love this house. It's clean and welcoming. The only issue I had was the thermostat. There are MANY thermostats in the house. The first night we were freezing, we set the thermostats we could find at 72 degrees. None of them worked. The only one that worked was the one in the LOFT! No one was in the loft to see it till the following day. I'd suggest removing the thermostats that don't work or putting a sticker on them saying they aren't functional. OTHERWISE, phenomenal stay. Highly recommend!

Darling cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Ridgetopper! It was so comfortable, and had everything we needed. We did have trouble finding the thermostat but a quick call to the property manager solved that! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin in the woods

My family really enjoyed staying in this lovely cabin nestled away in the woods. The house had everything we needed for a weeked stay. We particularly liked that it felt remote and private yet was still close to everything in Galena. Would absolutely stay there again for future trips to Galena!

Love this property! Perfect spot for a quick Galena getaway with our pup. Place was clean and well-equipped. Quiet area. And you feel like a you're in a tree-house -- both inside and outside the house. Would stay again.

Cozy Treehouse in the woods

We had a lovely time in our cozy treehouse in the woods with our Spanish Greyhound. The fireplace was lovely. The furry blankets made it nice to snuggle by the fire 🔥 The kitchen was clean and the breakfast nook was perfect with the fall trees surrounding us. The master bedroom was so comfortable. There were only two of us, so we did not use the upstairs or downstairs, but the other rooms were so cute. Especially the twin beds in the loft. I highly recommend this place!

The Treehouse

This was our third time staying in what we affectionately call the Treehouse. Again, a wonderful time was had by all. We especially enjoyed using an app developed by Cornell's laboratory of Ornathology called Merlin. It identifies birds by their call or by sight. We got quit an impressive list from the bird songs.

Relaxing Getaway

My friend and I were looking for a relaxing get away and this place did not disappoint. Even though there were other properties right next door it felt like we were miles away from anything. We enjoyed the pool which was a short drive away. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were very comfortable. We are already making plans to stay here next fall.
