"The room was clean but the carpets was severely worn. Had all the amenities, TV, iron + board, kettle and coffee. Parking at the Leisure centre and walk across an arcade- not ideal on a cold day but the multi-storey parking place was well lit, safe and well maintained and very cheap for 24hrs. Not an expensive place (price) but the one thing I couldnt palate was the breakfast (I simply walked away after tasting-absolutely unable even if you try and assumed that breakfast was 'not included')."

"I stayed at the Midland because I had a hospital appointment the following morning. The rooms were adequate but basic. I wasn't impressed with the receptionist, I felt she was rather cold. Around 8pm I went to reception and asked the same young lady for a couple of extra pillows ( there was only one on the bed) she said she would send some up, they never arrived. There wasn't any information on the telephone to be able to ring reception."

"At weekend food was a bit cool, the shower was lethally a bath mat would be appreciated . The microwave was without instructions and difficult to use. On the plus side the room was large well equipped clean and heating and cooling was great. Staff were excellent, I would definitely stay again."

Terrible service you get better service from other hotel providers, need to teach staff that hospitality means being nice and going the extra mile. Will not be booking again. "My friend and I had a lovely time. All staff were fantastic, the service was excellent. The room was very clean and comfy. The food was very nice, however the breakfast under the hot lights didnt stay fresh or tasty. I would suggest an extra choice of butter, too. The existing one was uneatable, another common British sold butter would have been nice. But overall, I rate this hotel highly."

All staff we dealt with were extremely helpful, courteous and we loved the sense of humour of the male member of staff greeting us at breakfast. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the discount on hotel bar items was great. "

"Great convenient parking right at the hotel, £18 for 24 hours and then £1 for each extra hour. Reception staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Room was good apart from a couple of bits of rubbish found underneath the bed that hadn’t been cleaned. "

"Staff were polite and welcoming, the room was clean, although I got the family room which meant sound proofing wasn't great with the room next door and neighbour had the TV on very loud very late into the night. The gym was week equiped and clean"

"This hotel was excellent. The decor was lovely, it was clean, the staff were exceptional, and the food both breakfast and dinner was fantastic. The location was great, walkable to anything you may need. I’d recommend this to everyone staying in Leeds."
