New King Bed - 2 Blocks From Downtown - best backyard in Fruita!

Cozy, convenient lodging in a very safe neighborhood (adjacent to the Fruita Middle School). Back yard is fully enclosed with a privacy fence and gated.

We fully renovated the house in 2013. The beds are a brand new King and Queen with memory foam mattresses - great night sleep. There is a large screen TV in the living room. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, and full-size fridge/stove in the kitchen with all the other dishes, pots and pans and utensils needed to prepare great meals on your own. We pride ourselves on supplying the house like we would for our own use. The outdoor patio is a spacious, comfy hangout with sun and large yard.

Dogs are welcome. The garage is a clean, secure space with a dog door - insulated enough to be a good place for dogs to relax while you are out on a trail. The back yard is quite large and pleasant.

Fruita now has a number of very good, nearby restaurants. We keep a jug of Vermont maple syrup to use at Camilla's with breakfast. The Hot Tomato pizza/brewpub, Tap Room, Suds, the Feedlot, and other good eateries are a short walk away.

Given the cozy size of this home, two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and one, good-sized bath with good water pressure and great shower, the new Rinnai heater warms it up in about five minutes flat. During hotter weather, the evaporative cooler does the same. Both are simple to turn on/off. We have also added HVAC units in both bedrooms to keep them as warm/cool as you want!

We absolutely loved our time in Fruita. The home was spotless, charming, and perfectly located near town. While the interior was comfortable, we spent all our downtime in the amazing backyard. Cam was a perfect host, and I highly recommend this place for a stay in Fruita.

We stayed here or a long extended Labor Day weekend. The house is clean very easy entry. The back patio and backyard were awesome! Our boy bogey absolutely loved to run and have fun in the yard! Our host was super responsive and came up with some great ideas and options of golf,wine tasting and peach hunting!! Unfortunately we didn’t get to check out and eat at the Hot Tomato because they’re closed on Sunday. They were hosted on diners, drive-ins and dives. Our friends that we visited in Grand Junction said that it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had!

The house was perfect! Wonderful large back yard, with an outside shower that we wished we would have tried out. We didn’t bring our Golden doodle, but if we had, it’s a very clean but pet friendly home which is nice. Nice to be able to do most our laundry before going home in their large laundry room. Kitchen was perfectly stocked with cooking necessities for cooking in order to save money doing out door fun! The home was perfect in every way and our family would for sure rent this place again if we are ever heading to Fruit Colorado again in the future. One thing very important to us is that the owner was very nice and quick in responding to our messages when needed.

This place was great!

We spent a wonderful 4 day anniversary weekend here. It was quiet, very clean & comfortable. It had everything we needed. The back yard was really great for having our dog with us, and just a couple blk walk to downtown. We will stay here again

Perfect Fruita Base Camp!

The house had everything we needed, the laundry/dog room was great, the back patio was perfect for relaxing after biking. The house is walkable to downtown Fruita, close to restaurants and breweries. Quiet neighborhood. Exactly as advertised - will definitely stay here again!

Great place! Location was very convenient, walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes, while still in a quiet area. Our favorite part was the backyard, we loved having dinner and relaxing on the patio in the evenings. Would stay again!

Best place for bikes and dogs!

We absolutely loved this place. It was perfect for us, our bikes, and our dogs. A huge fenced in yard with a mudroom was perfect for the dogs. The house was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of 3. It was so close to all things we needed. We only used our car to get to the trailhead, we walked for everything else.The only thing I would have liked is a small broom and a vacuum cleaner since I am a clean freak and we were staying there for over a week. Because, I didn't have a vacuum cleaner I just kept the dogs outside and in the mudroom, which they didn't mind, so it all worked out fine. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Great for small group with dogs!

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful kitchen and shower. The dog room was awesome for feeding and allowing the dogs to have their own space. The wood fence in the back yard was great? Very tall and sturdy so no worries about dogs escaping, and the back patio with lights was very nice. Will consider staying again if in Fruita again. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic getaway

Great location! Easy walking distance to downtown Fruita. The house had everything we needed for a week long stay. Loved that each bedroom had its own air conditioning unit, which we needed because it was Hot Hot Hot. Check in was easy, communication was on point.

Great Place

We were there for Country Jam and this was a well deserved break from hotels, which we have stayed in for so many years while attending Country Jam. Great Communication with the owner. Easy Booking and place was as advertised. Great location and nice relaxing back yard.
