"Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. The ocean views are incredible and the bed was extremely comfortable. 10/10. "

"Beautiful views of Clam Beach and comfy beds! We stayed 3 nights and found the property well appointed. Beautiful hot tub and plenty of private outdoor space to enjoy; we particularly enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pit. This was our second stay there and we will definitely be back!"

"I would have to say my overall stay was very comfortable, clean and convenient. The breakfast was OK, the usual stuff such as waffles, oatmeal, juice, toast, etc. they did provide some eggs that were tasteless. I was able to have my dog which made my trip so nice."

"This was a Motel 6, we were not expecting luxury, the rooms were small, but functional and sufficiently clean. The biggest issue was checking in, they have some sort of computer screen with a, "virtual front desk" which had me input all my information, including scanning my ID, to only then tell me that I couldn't check us in since the room was booked under my spouse's name. Thankfully they were in the car, but if not then what? And then we still had an issue due to my ID having been...

"Front desk staff member was really helpful and nice. Worked really well with our crew. Rooms were clean and smelled nice. The halls smelled nice. The outside parking area wasn't in the best condition but that did not reflect inside. "

"I love Red Lion Hotel. I feel safe, welcomed, i like everything about it today the only thing i didn't like was that the card(key) wasn't really working, the ice maker wasn't working on my floor so had to go the the other floor and it still didn't work. So went to the lobby to get ice. But overall i like it 10/10 family welcomed. "

"Staff was friendly and helpful, pace was fully renovated one year ago. Nicely done as well. All brand new furniture and fresh paint, new bathrooms. Very nice stay and served our travel purposes well. Thoughtful amenities like coffee and tissues were in the room. Highly recommend this property; I’d like to see these people succeed. They are even building a restaurant! Not open yet but really a gem to find in a world of chains!! Bravo!!"

"Centrally located, EXCELLENT STAFF, great breakfast, fun happy hour, 24 hour free coffee, clean comfortable rooms. The management loaned us water boots to do fern cannon, they are all about making your stay the best it can be! Highly recommend. "

"I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Check-in was smooth and the male employee who checked us in was kind and even gave us great food recommendations. The room itself was fine for a quick overnight stop after hiking in the Redwoods on our drive to LA for work. Unfortunately, our experience completely changed the next morning. While preparing to check out, we discovered our bags were soaked with water, including our laptop bag and clothing bags, resulting in damage to our laptops and belongings....
