"Starting at check-in, everyone was wonderful. Riley helped us check in and was so kind and knowledgeable about operations. The next morning at breakfast the man and woman cleaning and stocking breakfast items were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Maria and Tina were also very friendly and helpful during breakfast. We stayed in the 3 Queen suite for 3 nights. It wasn’t long before we ran out of towels. Zac helped us get some fresh towels. We will definitely be staying...

"Good place, given the value price. Bed mattress/pad was a bit soft, felt slanted. Antique shower would be a challenge for older people. Small round toilet bowl: tiny for anyone over 5'9". Breakfast barebones. Area around hotel: not much activity other than homeless people in square and alley behind hotel. Quiet after 10pm though, except for some younger people screaming argument at 1:30am in alley."

"The stay was comfortable. The only issue that we did have, and we did informe the staff, was that the mini fridge did not work. We lost some really delicious leftover Mexican food and had warm drinks. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

"I lived in Eureka when the Carter Inns were built. I have always enjoyed staying there when I visit. The staff is very attentive. The linens are lovely. It was very noisy. The walls seem very thin. But the positives still out way the negatives."

"The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also would’ve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator."
