"Despite its being a motel in an unsafe area on Hwy 101, across from a marijuana shop such that you get out of the car and smell it- the grounds, room, bed, and customer service were excellent. "We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool. We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy."

"This is the nicest holiday inn espress I’ve been to. The facility was super clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was nice as well, very well stocked and great healthy alternatives. Excellent all around. The rooms were great size. "

"Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. "

"The room was wonderful and bedding was great. Beautiful well maintained/restored historic property at the edge of a cute little town. Unfortunately midweek, the on-site restaurant and pub were closed, but there were a couple other options down the street. Absolutely delightful staff, very pleasant and accommodating."

"We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...

"We enjoyed our stay at Carter House. The bartender made us mocktails because we didn’t want the options that they had. I was also able to charge our EV at no cost. Location is very convenient for Eureka."
