"We enjoyed our stay at Sundowner Villa. The house was clean and very well appointed. The host’s description was accurate, we only needed the air conditioning on very calm days. We enjoyed using the kayaks on Savannah Sound. There are several bonefish flats adjacent to the island, and the Bonefishing was good. Local restaurants and a grocery store made our stay very comfortable. We hope the hosts will let us rent their VRBO again. We definitely will return."

"Great vacation It's our second time in Winding Bay. Best house we stayed. The house is lovely, bed is very comfortable, kitchen well supplied, kayaks, paddle board. Nice and long beach, very quiet. Many groceries close, fresh fish at Tarpum bay dock and a local vendor for fruits and vegetables at Tarpum Bay. We discoverd a very good restaurant in Rock Sound, The Wild Orchid, reasonable prices and very good food. We want to Thank Chris, he is very easygoing and pleasant. We will come back....

"Our 4 night stay was okay but could have been much better with a bit more attention to both the house itself and to the communication.Upon arrival, the power was out. We’re familiar with power outages on island but without WiFi and sketchy cell service in the area, we had to drive 20 minutes down the road to inquire about the outage. "This property is absolutely beautiful. It is set up perfectly for large groups. The location is gorgeous and you could spend the entire time exploring just this property! The house manager is wonderful and overall it was a great experience. I would only change two things: the mattresses could use a change and I would have loved to have some black out curtains- but I’m not a morning person so if you don’t mind bright sunshine in your room at 6:30am you’ll be fine!"

"Barbara’s house is very old-time comfortable with ample big furniture, plenty of storage, big kitchen, lots of equipment, good AC, and she communicates quickly with any questions you have. Even though it is on the main road, it is set back and quiet. The beach is a bit away, and the view from the house is basically water, but it is very private. "The condo was spacious beds comfortable. It was quiet and easily accessed. Stairs to rhe codo, so not handicap accessible. The people we met at stores and church and restuarants were friendly and helpful. Our host Swanson Brown was attentive by WhatsApp to answer questions and make suggestions. Parking was easy, right at the door. We didn't really use the kitchen, but did look through and appeared well stocked.
