  • Awesome second row Beach House located in Beautiful Surfside Beach (50 miles south of Houston). You can see the waves while lying in your bed in the master bedroom! The location is premium (middle beach) and access to the sand is extremely convenient...Newly extended deck that s very spacious and has beautiful views. An external shower with hot/cold water and privacy has been added downstairs for convenience... This is a sister property to "Bahama Mama" which is located next to it (search on Property ID 335582).

Loved the location! Be sure to bring your own drinking water, as the host reminded us!Only about 35 miles/45 minutes from Moody Gardens in Galveston!

Perfection

This was the perfect size house in the perfect location for our weekend getaway for my daughter’s 30th birthday. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of beds and a wonderful, large deck with a great view. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk. We will definitely be renting this one again!

Enjoyed our stay

Our family of six enjoyed our stay here. The beach house was clean and has a good layout with the rooms. Though it’s a second row beach house, it’s such a short walk. The views were good and we loved the sound of the ocean while sitting on the porch.

Family trip

The house and location was perfect. The access to beach was easy. Everything we needed was there. We had family in two other beach houses near us and ours was the best, hands down. The property manager was great and it was super easy to communicate with him. Will definitely use this beach house again.

Excellent Stay!

Excellent communication from the host!!! The best I've ever had. This location is perfect for access to the beach, viewing the waves and relaxing. Everything was perfect. There is enough room for a party of 8 to eat together and hang out.

Cute and convenient!

Just celebrated 4th of July with family and friends at Sunny Days and will look into renting this location again. Huge deck, accommodating corridors, and a great location to be on the beach in a minute or less. Thankful for the bunk beds to allow the kids to enjoy their “sleep overs” with siblings and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and will be back to surfside soon!

Great for Couples

We are 2 adult couples that vacation together alot and his house was perfect for us. Love the spacious partially covered front deck. It has a good view of the ocean off to the side. Beach access by foot isn't convenient, but not impossible. Overall we had a great time and would consider renting again.

Nice stay

We had an overall nice stay. The property was an easy walk to the beach and a had a nice view from the deck. Our only complaint was the strong sulfur (rotten egg) smell whenever you turned on the hot water. It made doing dishes or taking warm showers an unpleasant experience but the rest of the house was super nice.

Great place!

We loved the whole place! Room big enough to put a playpen up with smaller ones made it so easy and still had room. We finally found a house with a gate on the desk so our smallest one couldn’t go down the stairs! Love it! It was so easy to get a hold of the host for anything thing we had questions about and even took the time to call us.

Beautiful property to get away to!

Overall we were all very pleased with our stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars under property description, was it stated having a grill and it did not. In the owner's defense, he did just replace the deck, the previous renter had damaged. He did offer to reimburse me for purchasing a grill from the local store, which I did. The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The owner is very responsive and easy to talk with. You won't be disappointed staying here. We had a fabulous time, and would rent this home again!replacthe deck

Exceptable but......

Overall was a good experience. There was a couple of issues. The first issue was in the back bedroom we found several spiders and one was on the bed, so maybe exterminating regulary can solve the problem. The most important issues was that the mattresses are really terrible. The front bedroom mattress was absolutly atrocious. If the owner would fix these two issues the place would be five stars. All in all we had a good stay.

Inconvenient Beach access and water smells

No way directly on to beach. Homes in front of you have boardwalks but nothing for second row homes. Have to get in the car and go around the corner. Water condition is poor, stinks like rotten eggs, didn’t use to brush teeth and no one wanted to shower it smelled so bad. Signs up from 2021 say the area is having a water issue.
