We were there for 12 days. We were only a few minutes from the beach and there was a long stretch of beach to choose our spot from everyday. The beach house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Neighborhood was nice, a grocery store and convenience store one minute away. We loved the whole experience. Thank you!

Check-in was easy and the owner was readily available for questions about the unit. It was clean and comfortable and near the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening and the summer breeze. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Small property relative to guest capacity listed in advertising. No closets. Very small bathrooms. One bedroom TV not working. Listed as "steps from beach" - in reality a five-minute walk to rock/boulder shoreline - not a sandy beach. Island water is not drinkable. Need a water purifying system at least for drinking water.We had a GREAT vacation!!

Upon arrival there was three half full trash cans blocking the driveway to where I had to park on the road and move them just to access the property. Opened the front door and was overtaken by the smell of cigarette smoke and the bar top felt gritty like it was not cleaned. The back rooms bedding smelt like someone was smoking in the bed and the bedding was not washed. We had to get Febreze and a candle just to combat the smoke smell. The front door knob also broke but I was able to get it back on. I did reach out and got a response back pretty quick but all they wanted to do is send the cleaning service again which by that point we had already remediated the problems. The house is really nice and in a great location if you don't mind the smell of smoke or dirty countertops.

Good place

Overall the stay was good. When we got there we immediately noticed dirt (toothpicks and food crumbs ) on the carpet and cheese on the floor in the kitchen. There was no vacuum for the carpet so we made due. At night we pulled the beds down and the sheets in two rooms had hair and dirt on them….. to the point we washed them before turning in…… all the shower and sinks were covered in soap scum. The washer worked well but needs a deep clean as there is built up dirt and soap scum all around. I recommend staying there, as I notified the host and they offered to send the cleaning crew back to touch up. We declined as we had already cleaned everything. It is a nice place…. Just needs cleaned better in between guest. We had a good time! Great for family get togethers. Thank you!

Everything Was Great!

I cannot say enough about how great the property was, its location, cleanliness, etc. And the host was perfect in communicating with me. I had a few questions prior to the trip and he always responded within 5-10 minutes. Above and beyond expectations. Was extra pleased with coffee being provided, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Everything we needed!

Great beach getaway

We stayed here while working on settling our father's estate. It is a great place for gathering together and sharing stories on the sectional sofa or sitting on the deck enjoying the salt air. The house has plenty of room to gather together or to have a little privacy in the super comfortable bedrooms. This was our second stay here and we hope to be able to come back again.

We really enjoyed ourselves while on vacation and having a beautiful home to stay in helped so much. The house was clean, nice and had all the things we needed. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone as well.

Dirtiest rental we have ever stayed at

s were all made but when we removed the top cover to get into bed, there were food crumbs within the made beds. Also, one of the beds smelled of urine when we laid on it. We uncovered the sheet and saw a urine stain all the way through the mattress. We had to remove the fitted sheet & turn the mattress to avoid the smell. We informed the host & he said he would inform the maintenance crew and cleaning crew. We asked for new sheets and someone to clean. 2 of us went back to the home when the host let us know they were sending a crew. 2 girls showed up and said they were only told to change the sheets & were not told had told to clean. They said they had no idea about the soiled mattress. We showed them the soiled mattress, they seemed unsure of what to do with it. we asked if they had Lysol to spray the mattress and double cover the bed. We asked for protective cover but they didn’t have one. I hope they do better at managing this home bc it has potential. The host was responsive but having to do so much communication over something that should have been taken care of before we arrived put an extra stress on our beach weekend. In the end, not sure if the host cared or felt bad about it.
