The location was gorgeous. The animals were so cute and friendly. They met us at the door while we made breakfast. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking for our large group.

We were a large group of 11adults and we had a great stay. Loved that it was outside of town. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment for large groups. The outside space is amazing. We utilized every part of the property and the animals were a big hit. Master bedroom bed was very comfy.

Awesome Place to Stay

My wife and I took our kids and grandchildren here for a Christmas vacation and the place was awesome. Met the owner and he was very nice and enjoyed talking with him. I highly recommend this place for family or a group of friends to go and have a great time.

Birthday getaway

Great place for our friends to celebrate my 50th bday. Plenty of space and a great kitchen to prepare meals. The donkeys and llama were a huge hit and everyone loved to feed them. Spacious back yard area to share a meal, hang out, and look at the amazing view.

Farmhouse

We had to the most glorious time at the Farmhouse. The house is one of the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, everything you could desire in the kitchen. The home is absolutely fabulous as are all the wonderful animals that come to visit!

Great for Family Gathering

The property was great and we loved everything about it. The outside space was the perfect spot for quiet coffee in the morning and the group hanging out in the afternoon and evening. The house comfortably accommodated our group of 11. And I’d book again just for the animals!! The host was very responsive for one issue we had.

Bachelorette Trip!

We had the BEST time! The animals were probably the best part of the whole trip, honestly. The house was super clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. My sister is the bride-to-be and we made all the best memories thanks to Fredericksburg and this lovely home!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed stating at this beautiful property. It was well set up in an the area is very serene. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The bedrooms were set up perfectly for each family member. Homeowners were very responsive if we had any questions. Donkey's and Lorenzo the Llama were welcoming guests at the front door most mornings. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quiet place to stay, see wildlife and view beautiful stars on a clear night! Our only suggestions would be to have kitchen trash bags available if you have multiple guests staying longer than a couple of days. Also non slip bath mats available for the showers would be great. The floor gets quite slippery when wet.

Peaceful Retreat

We booked this beautiful home at the last minute after our father passed away and we were in town for his memorial. It was the perfect spot for healing and time together. The home had everything we needed for a restful stay. The beds were comfortable and the views were incredible. The kids loved seeing the llama and donkeys come to greet us each day.
