Luxury treehouse cabin overlooking Salt Creek. Nestled in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. Enjoy biking, running, or walking on the beautiful Holmes Co. Rails To Trails, just a 1/4 mi. away. You will love the quiet and quaint rural setting, yet you are only a short drive from countless Amish Country attractions, great dining, and unique shopping opportunities. The cabin sits atop a wooded hillside where the front deck perches 30' above the winding and tranquil Salt Creek beneath you.

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was exceptionally clean, well-built, and very comfortable—clearly a lot of care has gone into maintaining it. The host was phenomenal: friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. The only two things to note are that the cabin wasn’t quite as secluded as we had hoped, and the kitchen was missing a few basic items like foil and baggies, which would have been helpful. That said, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing

The accommodations were wonderful. The view from the back deck was a stream, which was very relaxing. The cabin was very nice and very well equipped. Bed very firm but comfortable for us. If the scenery and seclusion is important to you, this cabin would not be good in the winter due to the main road being so close. You would be able to see the main road from the back deck. You could hear the traffic. This cabin is in a good location for surrounding areas. The area around the cabin was very well maintained and the owner’s property is beautiful. If total seclusion is what you want , this is not the place. But overall it was very nice. We had a very nice stay.

Beautiful cabin, great hosts!!

A beautiful cabin and setting, great for a couple’s getaway. The cabin is easy to get to, well appointed and very clean. The hosts were very easy to work with and responsive.A great way to support a small family owned business. We’ll definitely make this a “go to” destination when we’re visiting the area!

Incredible stay!

My wife and I stay a couple times a year in Amish country and this is by far the best cabin! It was so modern, cozy, and the view off the back porch with the creek below was amazing. We will definitely be back soon

I had stayed at one of the two cabins three times in 2024 and loved all of my stays. So when I needed a weekend getaway early in 2025, of course I went with the Cabins over Salt Creek. You can't go wrong with staying in one of these two cabins.

That should tell you how great this place is. I live 2.5 hrs away but sometimes just need a weekend away and The Cabins Over Salt Creek are so relaxing! I highly recommend either of the two cabins!!

Anniversary stay

The cabin we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, and cleaner than any place I have stayed at in the past. We had a slight issue with the hot tub, but not only was the property owner accommodating, but went out of their way to make sure my wife and I enjoyed and got to experience all aspects of the cabin. Here’s to 4 years and many more of marriage, who knows this may become the spot for our getaways in the future.

Surprise getaway for parents’ 50th anniversary

My sister and I booked a weekend getaway at this cabin as a surprise gift to our parents for their 50th anniversary. The host could not have been more helpful and accommodating! My parents raved about the cabin; its beautiful setting, the tranquility of the area, and just how gorgeous the cabin itself is. They spent hours on the balcony just taking in the scenery. This place is truly a gem!!

Anniversary getaway

Our stay in this beautiful cabin exceeded our expectations. The property and surrounding areas are gorgeous and the cabin itself is amazing. Well crafted and nicely appointed and just the right size for two people. There’s lots to explore in the area and the hot tub was especially appreciated after a long bike ride. Beautiful, Peaceful Stay in Amish Country

We had an amazing time at this serene cabin owned by the Lemon family! The location was ideal, just 10-15 minutes from Millersburg and a short drive to Berlin. We brought our Polaris Slingshot, and driving through the curving roads of Amish Country, surrounded by rolling hills, farmland, and woods, was incredibly relaxing. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and super clean, with everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. A thoughtful touch from the Lemon family was the gift certificate to Lem’s, their local pizza joint—the pizza was absolutely delicious! The hot tub on the deck overlooking the creek was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The peaceful atmosphere gave my husband and me the perfect opportunity not only to relax but also to reconnect, which made the stay even more special. There was WiFi available, though we didn’t use it, so I can’t speak to the speed. Check-in was seamless, with the host providing all the necessary information 24 hours before our arrival. We had no issues at all during our stay. There are plenty of great shops, restaurants, and even a few wineries and breweries nearby. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Amish Country. Highly recommend this cabin and the Lemon family for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
