Gateway Gathering - Cabin I Fredericksburg, stargazing

When you visit Fredericksburg, TX, you must stay at Gateway Gathering – Cabin! You’ll find a fun, comfortable 1,400 sq. ft. modern, luxury log home. On top of that, Enchanted Rock offers great hiking trails, views and easy camping options for the whole family, outdoor activities are everywhere. With so much to do, golf, hiking, biking and exceptional trails through fields of wildflowers warm every heart. Families looking to relax often enjoy concerts, musicals and tours.

When you arrive, you will love the solid hickory floors. Additionally, the knotty Alder cabinets and a beautiful limestone fireplace in the great room invite you to stay a while. Each bedroom was inspired by a local wine. The Tannat Master Suite has a king size bed, sitting area and private bathroom. The Tempranillo Suite has a queen size bed and a semi-private bathroom. The great room has a vaulted ceiling and plenty of cozy seating. Situated in front of the fireplace is a luxury leather sofa with a queen size pull-out mattress that will inflate to 11 inches and has an adjustable headrest for reading, watching TV or staring at the fire. Gateway Cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with a long island and three counter stools. The front porch spans the entire length of the cabin and is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The back porch gives you a wonderful sunset view as well as access to the shared courtyard. No smoking, no pets and no children in this home, please.

An event pavilion is available for family and holiday gatherings. Please inquire for more information.

Great getaway right outside Fredricksburg

Great property.. nice space in living area, good size kitchen, well stocked with dishes, applicances, etc. Outdoor area great for looking at the stars, nice grill area. Close enough to Fredricksburg, but out in the country.. on the way to Luckenbach. Will definately go back.

Recent stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. Very clean (there were a few dead bugs laying around -but good they were dead haha). Only complaint is not enough wash cloths for days spent there. Other than that it was wonderful!

The photos give you an idea of how nice this property is, but when we walked through the front door, we were wowed! Very tastefully decorated, and well thought out design. There is nothing not to like. Kudo's to the owners for providing such a wonderful retreat.

Wonderful facility

A very, modern, handicap accessible comfortable house with everything included except groceries . Super soft towels, good a/c, comfy chairs. Could have used a better cleaning as there was dust and debris in corners of bathroom floor. Minutes from the wineries and downtown. Owner immediately answered our questions. A great place and very quiet… even as close to 290 as it was. I would stay again!

Lovely home just minutes from Fredericksburg

The property was lovely and cozy, exactly as depicted in the photos. We were minutes away from the main street of Fredericksburg, yet had the feel of being "away from it all." Even though it was a holiday, the proprietors were quick to respond to questions. We will gladly stay there the next time we visit Fredericksburg.

Excellent place to stay!

Excellent place to stay if your going to Fredricksburg. About 5-7 mins from Fredricksburg and 15 mins from Lukenbach. Very clean and beautiful house and land! Location is great! Defiantly will use these guys again and get this house to stay in price is excellent for what you get in the house!

Great Cabin close to town

This cabin is exactly as described. It was a quick and easy check in process. The cabin is close enough to town, but also out in the country. It was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable home/cabin

Clean, comfortable, and well decorated cabin, just a few minutes outside of Fredericksburg. Nice bedding and linens. Large open area for the kitchen, dining and living area. DirecTV is available. We would certainly like to return again! Our only disappointment was the patio furniture in the picture of the courtyard, perfect for sunsets, was not there. We would recommend a shade or window covering for the kitchen window for privacy since it is partially in view of the shared courtyard with the neighboring rental.

Beautiful property and wonderful accommodations

We came down to the Texas Hill Country to winecation for four days and the Gateway Gathering cabin was perfect! We found a new favorite place to stay. Only negative I have is the lack of laundry amenities - while I had a fully packed suitcase, I would have liked to not have had to wear things more than once in the 90-degree heat. 😉 Otherwise, this is a great homebase for adventures in the Texas wine country - beautiful property and home, great location that’s easy to find in the dark, and great communication from the owners on gate/door codes, Wi-Fi passwords, and such. Highly recommend!
