Great fishing getaway!

We had a great time here! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for the weekend. Easy lake access just a couple of minutes away was a bonus. The house itself was comfy, with plenty of space to hang out, cook meals, and relax.The host was friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. We’d come again. bacagain!

Perfect for our trip

We stayed for a weekend 4h competition and the house was perfect for us. It was super clean and comfortable, the games were a huge bonus. Chris was a wonderful host who responds to messages immediately.

Nice get away

Property needed mowing. Neighbors were loud. The inside was nice. Games were used and fun was had. The cleaning fee is high. Especially when you are expected to do the dishes and take the trash out. I don’t mind cleaning up after myself, but that’s not the point. The bath tub does not hold water and the hot water ran out fast. It says there is a fireplace but there is NOT.

Great for families with kids

Jesse was a great host; always responded, check in and check out was simple and less requirements than most hosts! We came down from Oklahoma to spend some time with our TX grands. The house was set up to keep them entertained (as well as grandpa!). The house was clean and simple in design which made cleaning up and keeping up with grandkids easy and hassle free. The soaker tub in the main bedroom was definitely a bonus after a long day of traveling as well as a quiet respite once the grands went down for the night. Thank you! If you are looking for a low key place to relax and unwind, this should fit your needs perfectly.

Microwave - didn’t work, not repaired before we left despite message that they'd send someone. Review from 9/9/24 says it didn't work then. Older charcoal grill. Didn’t look for charcoal, but may have been there, outdoor furniture was minimal and on the grass, not a pleasant area Only dishes for 4 (includes coffee cups, plates, bowls - some paper plates there) 5 cup coffee maker, coffee, powdered creamer, sweetener, filters all provided Very few washcloths Didn’t find hair dryer in master bath Toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, rolls on back of toilet One leg missing on pool table, folded cardboard placed under, but still balls went to that corner Deadbolt worked but someone obviously tried to pry the door open Luxe Leather Lounge? No recliners The appliances were nice, but not Stainless Steel Smart Stove - black electric stove with timers, not sure what was smart about it OK linens, but def not top quality Master bath is very nice, but shower needs some TLC Second bathroom was decent. There is no second floor. States: On a beautiful Texas day, “step out” by the lake - the lake is at least 3-5 minute walk and cannot be seen from the house. Master bedroom carpet not vacuumed, I have pic/video of this, dark crud by Master shower, panel above kitchen island deco is falling off, one chair leg is broken - would have busted if someone sat on it. Much dark handprints on doorways, light switches. Needs good cleaning/paint. Code wrong for door when we arrived at 11:30pm.

Property was decent. Couldve used a mowing and trim. First night we found WIFI didn't work. Next morning found that microwave didn't work. Sent both issues to host that morning but didn't just any response until the morning we were checking out.

Misrepresentation of property

This property advertised that it sleeps 12 people. It will only accommodate 8. I only had 9 people in my party so one of my guest had to sleep on the floor. We arrived at 3:55 pm and the property was still being cleaned. We finally got inside at 4:15 pm. The house was alot smaller than represnted by the on line pictures.

I would highly recommend staying at this property! We only had 4 people, but it could very comfortably fit and sleep at LEAST 8. Theres entertainment, its clean, and all we could have asked for in a quiet getaway. Thanks to the owners for having us!
