We were 6 strangers attending the nearby Highland County Fiber Retreat. This property was 15 minutes from our venue and was a lovely place to rest and regroup.

Wonderful Stay

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your vacation home. It was a wonderful base during the Highland County Maple Festival. We plan on coming back in a few years and hope to stay here again. We appreciate that the house was dog friendly and all the amenities.

The beauty and serenity of the home location could not be any better. The owner has made it very home-like with comfortable furnishings, lovely fall decorations and immaculate cleanliness. It truly is a place where one can find peace and solitude.

Hidden gem

This property is huge! Also is at the end of a long shared driveway! We weren’t sure how many guests we were going to have staying so we booked this place thinking we would have enough room. It ended up only being 4 people staying there but was perfect! Lots of beds and space. There are limited properties in this part of WV but would definitely stay there again if ever in the area! Nicole was very responsive and communicative through the booking and arrival processes.

A magical getaway!

What a wonderful charming property! You have the best of both worlds, modern conviences set back in time. The home was sparkling clean, the beds were so comfortable, plenty of space for a large group. The setting was FANTASTIC! Beautiful trail on property. Just can't wait to go back!

Fantastic Relaxing & Calming Visit

We had another fantastic visit in the mountains of West Virginia and Monterey VA. We had everything we could have ever imagined needing for a special family get together. We were so comfortable with plenty of room and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub on a rainy afternoon - sat back and watched the deer with their fawns and hawks too - so relaxing and calming. Hope to return soon!
