The Bright and Breezy - Lakefront with Spa!

The Bright and Breezy is a gorgeous newly-remodeled home right on the south shore of Crystal Lake! Outside it features a NEW PRIVATE HOT TUB, huge dock, outdoor shower, hammock, bonfire ring, water toys (including a lilypad and a kayak), backyard deck, and a propane grill! Inside the home is beautifully decorated in bright and beachy tones. Plus high-speed Wi-Fi along with live streaming tv's! The property makes for a fantastic base year-round to explore all of northwest Michigan!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The house is along the luxurious south shore of Crystal Lake, which boasts many luxurious homes of over $1M in value. The neighborhood is primarily made up of vacation homes of professional families.

Outside of the immediate neighborhood, the home is just a few miles from downtown Frankfort, which has a charming collection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and a microbrewery (Stormcloud). Frankfort also has a fantastic public beach on Lake Michigan and a popular historic lighthouse. The Bright and Breezy is also less than a 30-minute drive from both the start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (to the north) as well as Crystal Mountain Ski Resort (to the southeast).

The house is also only about a 1-hour drive east to Traverse City. Traverse City is the business, arts, recreation, entertainment, dining, and shopping hub of all of Northern Michigan and it provides a vast variety of "bigger city" things to see and do.


GUEST ACCESS:

Guest have complete access to the entire house, except for a small closet that is used by the owners for storage.


THE SPACE:

This is ALSO a great destination for winter skiing! The home is warm and cozy in the winter with an indoor wood-burning fireplace and it's only a 24-minute drive from Crystal Mountain! It includes high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple televisions with live streaming, and board games as well! Also provides a beautiful wintertime of Crystal Lake and ice fishing right across the street! The new year-round SPA / HOT TUB is also great for relaxing after a day of skiing!


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

(1) Outdoor surveillance cameras are in use at this property.
(2) ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED AT THIS PROPERTY! This includes service dogs. Please do not attempt to sneak in a pet. We do check-in guests in person and there are outdoor surveillance cameras at the property. If a pet is seen at the property, then the current guest will be immediately removed from the property without any refund of any portion of their stay.

The house was exactly as shown. Very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Hot tub was added bonus. Check in was a breeze and communication with the property manager was instant. Highly recommend!

My husband myself and our 2 friends just loved it there. All the connivence of home. Close to everything we wanted to do. And after running around all day, it was nice to come back have a small bonfire and enjoy the hot tub. We defiantly what to come back during the summer months to enjoy the lake and to see other places we didn't get to see the 4 days we were there.

Was a bit surprised with the $20 extra charge for each additional guest after 2. Also the $500 deposit and the extra late charge for every 15 minutes that would have been charged if not checked out on time. While I get this, it seemed a little much. Place was clean n nice ghogh

Beautiful little cottage. Was very recently updated inside and we loved the space. The dock was great to sit and read next to the crystal clear water. Frankfurt was just a short drive away and we enjoyed some great meals and shopping there. We loved this place and will be back. Our only suggestion is a few more window AC units it was very hot weather while we were visiting.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was clean and beautiful! We didn’t get to use the lake because of weather but it looked crystal clear and beautiful at the end of the dock! Lots of room for the whole family. Loved the outdoor shower too! Great experience overall.

The property was easy to find, the sleeping arrangements were great, and the hot tub was a real hit. We were close enough to Frankfort to pick up carryout and it was an easy drive to Crystal Mountain for skiing.

For a lake front cottage, this place is open and feels like plenty of room. Even on a chilly or rainy day, we would be content inside with the fireplace and 2 large tables. One could be used for puzzles or games. The sitting area with the comfortable sectional set this cottage apart, as did the hot tub! Would certainly stay here again in the summer or fall!

Of all the places I have stayed, this may be the most comfortable. The sofa, bed, pillows, sheets. The kitchen, the coffee, the grill, etc. It was a wonderful home. The lake is truly Crystal clear. I was sorry that we weren't able to stay longer.

This house is in such a prime location for many local sights. The house is nice with really comfortable beds and pillows!!! The hot tub out back was perfect with the cool weather that we had when we were there. I would stay here again

We had myself and my husband and our 4 kids, and this was the perfect place for us! The house was beautifully renovated, clean, and very well-stocked with linens, dishes, cleaning supplies, water toys, board games, everything you could need! Beds were super comfy. The kids loved the private dock and fire pit. And the location can’t be beat! We found so much to do in the area: shopping/dining in Frankfort, climbing Sleeping Bear Dunes, touring Point Betsie lighthouse, watching a drive-in movie at the Cherry Bowl Drive-In. We spent many afternoons swimming and kayaking in Crystal Lake, and evenings playing board games or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Wonderful place to make family memories!

An AMAZING property. Older cottage that has obviously just been completely renovated with new everything from paint and flooring to appliances, kitchen, beds, all furniture inside and out as well as high quality kitchen set up with EVERYTHING you could need! The place was pristine and all the lovely touches of fully stocked coffee bar, full spice rack and cleaning products made it a delight. We definitely will be looking forward to another stay here.
