  • Beautiful views from this direct water/lakefront home on Fox Lake. This house sits high up on the lake with unmatched views of the Chain O'Lakes. Access on the property to water and boat pier. Large double deck directly on the property and lake. Boating, swimming, beach, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Newly remodeled. Large screened in porch and newly paved driveway. White kitchen with stainless steel appliances. 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch in the downstairs living area. 1 1/2 bathrooms. Upstairs and downstairs TV's with wi-fi. 2 fireplaces in both levels. Large built in bar with games and dart board. Washer/dryer. Large deck overlooking Fox Lake with furniture and grill. Downstairs patio overlooking Fox Lake. Large double tiered deck located lakeside. Close to downtown Fox Lake, trains, restaurants, and shopping and more. Nearby beaches, marinas, Blarney's Island, Volo Auto Museum, roller skating , movie theater, horseback riding, farmers market, pumpkin patches, apple picking, walking trails, nearby parks and nature areas, and more. Winter time adds snowmobiling, tubing, and skiing at nearby Wilmont Mountain Ski Resort. Lake Geneva is a 30 minute drive. Rent a boat or bring your own. Launch is closeby. Tie up to our 40 ft. private pier on the property.
    The house also has outdoor security cameras at the front door as well as back lower door and back outdoor walkway to provide added protection as well as to check for arrivals and departures for housekeeping and maintenance services. While these cameras do add "security" please note that they are only outdoors and NOT monitored. We are pet friendly with an additional daily charge.

This place is gorgeous. Location is fantastic. Home was spotless. Ample parking in the driveway. It is incredibly serene and peaceful.

Beautiful lake front property! The dock had ample room for our 19' boat, along with a driveway long enough for our trailer and truck. As a bonus, the property across the street allowed for super easy backing in of the trailer.

Clean, well stocked, worked fine for us in spring. Stairs are a little awkward but can just stay on one level easily. Beautiful view.

This is an ideal location for a couple or a young family looking for a quiet place to kick back or a base to visit the Chain of Lakes. My wife and I like to cook and were pleased by the excellent quality of the stove and cookware. The gem of the property is a deck overlooking Fox Lake. It was too cold to swim but we basked in the sunlight for three days reading books and drinking wine.

Very beautiful, clean and fun place to stay! Host had great communication, the listing is exactly as described, and the views were great! Stayed here with 4 of us adults and all had a really good time. Would love to come back in the summer! :)

We had a very nice and relaxing weekend. The house was beautiful and the view of the lake was spectacular. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed a day at the nearby Volo Museum with our 2 year old son (highly recommend!) and had some great dinners at nearby restaurants. Perfect weekend.

We loved this cozy cottage!! It has everything we needed and we loved the fireplaces for the winter time. Hosts were friendly and responsive. We want to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

The lake house was exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and anything you can think of that you need the owners made available to you. The communication with the owners was wonderful as I had to reach out prior to booking since my husband was handicapped. Maria was wonderful. We even lucked out and were able to check in early. The lake views were stunning. Absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Cora Cottage was exactly what we needed! The interior was VERY clean and well-appointed. And, the exterior had multiple spots for sitting and drinking coffee, then water, and then wine! We were only at Cora Cottage for two nights, which normally, to us, is a short enough time to get "carry-out" food. But, we dediced the view was too good to leave, so with a quick trip to a grocery store, we opted to fix all of our meals in the cute kitchen and eat outside on the deck!I am a walker and like to explore the area I stay in by foot. Fox Lake felt safe, was easy to walk, and pedestrian friendly (sidewalks everywhere)!Maria was incredibly responsive. And, when I had a question about the best grocery store in the area, she was quick to reply, and gave great recommendations.
