"Yes, the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room we were in needs some refreshing but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth staying. Meals in the restaurant/pub were very delicious. It is about half hour from Inverness but that means the area is very quiet. The hotel overlooks the bay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"The room was clean and sufficient for us to basically just sleep there. The noise coming through the vent fan in the bathroom was loud. We got hot at night so had to open the windows…it was noisy. But we managed and overall would stay again. "

Couldn't get hold of staff after we had spoken earlier in the day and they had confirmed they would still be on site when we arrived, a couple staying there had pity on us and helped us call the staff, etc. We ended returningthe favor to another late group. "The staff, room and hotel was very nice. But I have to say the prices for a hotel in the Highlands was London prices. Also we took breakfast with the room and when we checked out, and I checked the bill, they charged for herbal tea, this was never explained to us. The lady at the reception took this charge off. "

"Beautiful 200 year old hotel with lots of character. We were upgraded to a suite which was amazing. Enjoyed sitting in our bay window overlooking the river and people walking the streets. Excellent location. Just across the bridge to the town centre. Street parking nearby which was free after 5:00 until 10:15 the next day. Good breakfast. Staff at reception and breakfast were very personableu. Cleaning staff were great too. "
