    FREE PARKING AND FREE WIFI!!! On Okaloosa Island you get the best of two worlds- a family-friendly atmosphere and a straight-shot view of the Gulf of Mexico. Say what you will, but this white silk beautiful sand that OUR GULF COAST beaches affords us is some of the best around, truly!
    Walk out onto the private gulf front balcony and gaze at the emerald green ocean, white sandy beaches, and dolphins swimming by. All of our two bedrooms at the Islander Beach Resort feature a full kitchen equipped with all major appliances, dishes, utensils, and cookware for your convenience. A washer and dryer is furnished in the unit as well!

    Features fresh paint, new furnishings, area rugs and a style that you will adore. The views from this unit are unbelievable. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The sofa in the living room is a queen size sleeper. Lots of comfortable seating in the beach front living room and the modern dining area. TVs in all rooms, a business corner and FREE WIFI.

    The sleeping arrangements in this unit are as follows: Master bedroom - 1 King bed, 2nd bedroom - 1 Queen bed, Sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit sleeps 6.

    Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. A quick stroll across the boardwalk puts you right on the beach! All guests have Free High-Speed Internet access in their unit, as well as wireless Internet access in our lobby..
    Islander Beach Resort has a two vehicle limit.
    The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

Best vacation!!

This was our first time to vacation with just our family and I was amazed at how easy it was to book everything and it was really easy to check in and all of the information we needed was sent to us so we could refer back to it at anytime! It was really easy, relaxing, and everything went smoothly!

Able to get in the pool 2 days and only get a hint of a sunburn. The condo was great. The carpet was so nice to have on the cool nights. Great stay as always. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with Brooks and Shorey and the Islander was great. The employees of both were a pleasure to deal with and Brooks and Shorey made sure we were all set when it came time to check in. The condo complete was nice and well maintained and easy beach access. The 2 chairs per condo were a treat and the beaches and water were pristine. The condos were all well stocked - especially 5008, they had everything from kitchenware to extra blankets. Only negative would be the sofa bed mattress it wasn't even comfortable for kids to sleep on. that needs to be changed if you are going to advertise sleeping capacity. Honestly an air mattress would have been better. Otherwise will definitely be back and use Brooks again!

It had old carpet that smelled so bad it was hard to stay in one of the rooms. This 1st day there I had to hide a large bathroom rug in the closet to try to help with the smell. It smelled like it had probably been peed on multiple times. The 2nd bedroom carpet was so bad I couldn’t enter the room without gagging. One of my girls had to sleep with us and the other on the sofa sleeper. The building was in a great location and we enjoyed the pool area and beach service. We would probably stay here again but definitely in a different unit. We booked last minute and now I understand why this unit was still available.

Never disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have stayed at the Islander resort many times in the past. We have stayed at Different rooms here and are happy with all of them. 5008 was pretty nice though some things were a little dated. Otherwise the view and the wide panoramic view of the ocean is better then most of the other condos we've stayed along Ft Walton beach. The condo was well stocked with cookware and dishes. We had to call Brookes and Shorey for a beeping smoke detector which they took care of promptly and replaced all the other ones while they were there. We took advantage of the free Sea blaster sunset dolphin cruise which we do every year. Beach service was great as usual. My wife and I look forward to our stay here almost every year. Just bring a few batteries for the remotes. Never know when they will die. As usual Brookes and Shorey does a great job. Overall a great condo. Would stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is in a good location but needs to have the ceiling repaired, carpet replaced and ac repaired before it is rented again. The popcorn ceiling falls off onto the floor, bed, couch etc. You vacuum up but there is always ceiling on the floor. There is a bad smell to the unit which is covered up by a plug in air freshener which is worse. The carpet is nasty dirty and in need of replacement. The ac unit could not keep up and subsequently failed 5 days into the stay. The property management was quick in response and moved us to a different unit which turned out to be an absolute blessing. When you compare the first unit to the second unit, we were horribly overcharged and believe we are due compensation. We believe this is not a new and unknown problem - it needs to be rectified before it is rented again.

Wonderful condo

We absolutely loved this condo. The ocean front view was fantastic, the location was great and loved having the beach service! This condo is definitely well stocked with everything you need for your stay, that was a great help.

Great first Vrbo experience!

Condo was great for our first family vacay (mom, Dad, nine year-old). This place had plenty of space to stretch out when we had too much togetherness. We walked into a clean condo and we found it very user-friendly and available. You overlook the pool, and the ocean view is awesome. We utilized most of the amenities-there were lots of extra kitchen appliances if wr needed them. We cooked most nights or warmed up leftovers. Our family would love to stay here in the future. My kiddo loved the pool too much! Notes on stay: -Bring your own bath towels. We were only provided two for our group of three. Shampoos and soaps were included. -Make sure the washer lid is pushed all the way down. Laundry detergent was included. W/D is located behind the very first door on the left when walking in. -No recycling on-site -No extra blankets in the condo so bring your own -Hair dryers were included in each bathroom -Beach chairs and umbrellas were set up each morning and removed in the afternoon by staff -Pool was cleaned each day by staff -A coke vending machine was on the first floor -Parking was great (one of my big anxiety triggers) but the lot was big and we could park our F-150 just fine -Be up by 7 am to see the dolphins

Very clean. Confort of home. Great view. Close to stores. Gym was small but comfortable.

Great Condo!

The condo was even nicer than pictured. Kitchen was well appointed. Balcony is amazing, as was the beautiful beach and pool. Only negative was king bed mattress could be upgraded 😴. Otherwise great unit.

Chance to visit nearby family

My husband, 94 year old mother in law and I found the unit to be just as beautiful as the pictures. The management was very helpful and great at communicating with us. The kitchen was very well stocked, allowing me to enjoy cooking and the balcony view was incredible! Having staff set up chairs and umbrellas on the beach was so much appreciated amd convenient! Thank you for a lovely stay! We will told our son and daughter in law, who live nearby, to reccomend to their other family and friends who need a place to stay. We will be back!
