I LOVE this charming 50's cottage remodeled for your up-to-date comfort including custom shower with rainfall showerhead, new kitchen appliances, new front loading washer and dryer, luxury towels and bedding, and more! Located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood on the edge of the Downtown district. Walk to over 10 restaurants, shopping and all downtown attractions! This will be your new "go to" place when visiting the Fort Smith area or just passing through. Convenient parking in front and rear.

Loved the location, close to historical downtown, museums and places to eat. Easy access to everything we were interested in doing! We had a great time in Fort Smith and this cottage worked perfect for us and our sweet elderly dog! The house was just as pictured, so clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed and more. Cathy provided us with lots of information before our arrival and afterwards to make sure we were taken care of. We will definitely stay here again!

Cute little home in Fort Smith. Great night of sleep!

My wife and I had a wedding in Muldrow and Fort Smith was the closest town. This house was adorable. It was right next to downtown which is a little sketchy, but the street this home on was fine and you can tell they are trying to revitalize the area some.

Very nice and comfortable duplex close to town

We loved the little duplex and Cathy has fixed it up so nice with everything you could ask for. Its close enough for a short walk to most all attractions in the downtown area. The bed we slept in was so comfortable. Would return again.

Great stay in Ft Smith!! Cathy was the best host

What a wonderful stay we had in Ft Smith! Cathy was great and her property was just as listed! Super clean and little touches everywhere that made our stay special. She is great with communication before, during and on check out. Great little spot right in the heart of Ft Smith!! We will be back.

Such a cute spot!

We loved staying at this house. It was cute, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could want. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was quiet. We were in Fort Smith under tough circumstances, but Cathy went above and beyond for us with a cute card and muffins. I highly recommend staying here!!

Close to convention center

We were there for a fundraiser event. The house is within walking distance of the convention and many restaurants. The area is fairly quiet considering it’s downtown. The house was clean with many extra touches to make sure we felt welcome. I recommend.

Another Stay at Downtown Cozy Getaway

This is our 4th time staying in one of Cathy’s properties. She is one of the most attentive hosts we have ever had. Downtown Cozy Getaway is exceptional! The home is very clean, cozy and well equipped with whatever you may need for your stay. I highly recommend Cathy and her property! Our pups love it too…especially when they get a “special treat” left for them from Cathy.

Communication with the property owner EXCELLENT! Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a quaint coffee house, pizzeria and Mexican restaurants. My daughter and I stayed here on a business trip for me. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay! Cathy is an exceptional host!

Perfect spot for us

I truly enjoyed staying in this home. The location was absolutely perfect! We could walk anywhere. When I walked in the front door, I immediately felt pampered. It is beautifully decorated and very inviting. I'm planning a vacation rental of my own and I took lots of notes at Cathy's place. I want my guests to enjoy their travel experience as much as I enjoyed staying with Cathy.

Fabulous Stay!

I came to Fort Smith for two nights to visit my son in college. It was a fabulous stay and the place was exactly like I expected. Cathy was a great host who made checking in and leaving easy and called and made a personal connection prior to our check in. I loved to walk to the local coffee shop. The location is right in town. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely book again!

A Fort Smith Gem!

We chose this rental because of the charm of the house. Upon arrival, not only did the house have the charm I expected, but it was also very upscale and ultra-clean. It had everything we needed to stay for a week. All the comforts of home. We were so close to nice restuarants and entertainment. The owner made herself available if anything was needed. I was sad to leave this jewel of a house at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend booking this property if you are looking at staying in Fort Smith.

Perfect for girls' trip with elderly mother.

Sisters in our 60s on a girls’ trip with our mother. Very nice for someone with mobility issues. Only two steps up, then all one floor, with a walk-in shower. We took up the rugs to avoid tripping hazards. Layout/Comfort: Well laid out & worked well. LR & each BR had its own AC. New appliances & seating, lovely kitchen and bath. Décor minimal & tasteful. Linens: Bed linens excellent quality, comfortable & beautiful. Bath & kitchen towels abundant. Bath: Shower head not as forceful as I like, but good for mother. Also a hand-held. Plenty of hot water & toilet tissue. Note: The shower floor was a little bit slippery. Kitchen: had most of what WE needed, but we didn’t cook there. Coffee nook & microwave unit pretty & functional. Plenty of paper towels & dish soap. I do appreciate that this was not a “starter pack” rental, where we had to go out to buy enough paper products & dish soap to get us through. Communication: Host’s emails to me were not showing up in VRBO or in my inbox. But she was very timely in answering my calls. Location: This is a duplex unit. Very well built, & quiet. Location perfect. Near downtown, but felt private. Not much traffic. We parked on the street & felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood & in the house. I rated this VRBO 5 stars because it IS! I discuss mobility factors in case others with those issues consider a stay here. It is not advertised for such, but worked perfectly for us. Highly recommended!
