Rooms were in bad shape, smell of weed in the hall on 5th floor, restaurant and bar have been closed for many many years, pool is dirty, tvs only worked with streaming services, no local service, money was stolen out of bag and manager isn’t responding

I do not normally leave reviews, but after this stay, my entire family agreed it was warranted. I booked three rooms for four adults. At check in, we were placed on separate floors. This was not requested and was the clerk’s decision. I asked for it to be changed and was denied. Despite being on three different floors, all rooms experienced the same issues, showing these were systemic problems. I booked Sea Club Resort through Expedia for two nights prior to a cruise because of the location and price. Unfortunately, the condition and operation of the property fell well below expectations. The biggest issue was the room key system. If a room was left unoccupied, the key cards would stop working, requiring a return to the front desk every time unless someone stayed inside the room. This affected all three rooms and other guests as well. At checkout, we were told placing key cards near a phone could cause them to stop working, which suggests an outdated access system. Housekeeping was inconsistent, with towels removed and not replaced, and room conditions were poor, including dirty sheets, a loose bathroom faucet, a towel stuffed into a damaged vent, and heavy grime throughout. While staff were polite, the property is poorly maintained, and I will not return.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We arrived late due to flight delays but the front desk was great and took great care of us. Lobby was dated but seemed clean. We went to park behind the building and there were not nearly enough spots for how many units there are. Parking spots were very tight and some of the bigger vehicles were right on the line. We had to squeeze out of our compact rental. Next we entered the building and the lighting was low with a dingy hallway that had a musky odor. Took the elevator up to the 4th floor in search of 410. Signs did not clearly show where this unit was but we found it in the stairwell. The door opened to the balcony (weird) and then another door to get into the actual room. There were no light switches and the room was completely dark. Once we got the lights on we saw how dated and dilapidated the room was. Paint on the walls was peeling, the ceiling seemed dirty (fiberglass ceiling?), toilet and shower had stains and were a 70’s yellow/green color. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the beds and immediately headed for the front desk. Lavonda was great and seemed to be very understanding of our concerns and stated Expedia would have the final say on refund. After contacting Expedia, they reached out to the hotel and our refund was issued in full. We even suggested this property should not even be an option here. Save your time and money and look elsewhere

Disgusting room that looked neglected for a decade or more. Absolutely filthy carpet. mold all over shower curtain. Linens were used and dirty and they didn't have any clean linens available in the hotel. I had to run to walmart and buy my own bath towels. The bedsheets were also used and filthy. They gave us clean sheets but didn't have pillow cases so I had to buy my own from Walmart as well. Tub didn't drain. It's in a great location right across from the beach, but not worth the filth. Just a disgusting place.

The hotel was probably super cute back in the 1960's when it first opened and then.....they decided to never update anything. Bathroom was dingy/ bathtub was stained and cracked, toilet looked like it came from a gas station. You had to slam your body into the bathroom door to get it to close. Rug in the bedroom was probably decades old. Beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable to boot. It was a cold night so we attempted to turn the heater on and it started smelling like burning...something. So we were too afraid to use it. To add insult to injury our room was right next to the door that leads to the parking lot which was also very heavy and old so anytime anyone came in or out, we were treated to a loud slamming noise that kept us up at night. Only redeeming quality was the location on the beach.

This was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms, walls, countertops, and shower were all visibly unclean, and there was even garbage left on the floors. The overall condition of the room was extremely disappointing. Housekeeping isn’t included either — they charge extra if you request it. The only positive aspect was the front desk staff, who were very friendly and courteous

Hard to access from the busy street. Had to go around the block three times. Was one night stay prior to a cruise. Unfriendly staff. Never made eye contact or smiled. Pics on website not current. Parking dark and seemed unsafe. Room was Numbered in 200’s but was in the basement. Hallways were very old and filthy dirty and stained. All door jams had rusty water drop stains all over them.No view of ANYTHING. Room walls were all bumpy and had layers and layers of very old paint. Everything was dark sienna brown or maroon. Felt like you were in a penitentiary serving time. Room was excessively damp. Entire hotel felt dirty, run down and unsanitary. I didn’t feel it was a safe environment. Pics on website seemed to have been taken long ago. Room I booked did NOT look as pictured. Told them I refused to take the room. They did not apologize and said that I could go. When I asked about them swiping my card they said they would “take care of it.” They never checked me out or anything. I had to ask them for a business card or something for contact information and follow up. Expedia contacted them but wouldn’t commit to refund! I’ll have to pursue BBB if they don’t comply. FLB is full of these unreliable misleading hotels. Recommend you don’t book here and spend TOP DOLLAR at a reputable chain or flagship hotel in area that has standards.

The first room I got the carpet was wet and smelled moldy and they changed me to another room. I never even took off my shoes. The room was disgusting and the bathtub and the entire bathroom was horrific.

Women at the front desk were very good and fun to talk to. That is the only good thing about this hotel. Rooms are dirty and dated. The bathroom was disgusting hair and grime all around the edges of the floor. Door to room was not very secure with only one deadbolt. We put our luggage in front of door for added security. Ok location, not a lot of restaurants around unless you want to spend a bunch of money. Better options about a 10min walk away. They do offer a shuttle to the cruise but for a fee.

They false advertising NO Restaurant No Lounge, The rooms smelled like urine and vomit, Walls were covered in spilled drinks and god knows what. Cheap old memory foam mattress with deep swells . No gym. No beach chairs. only 6 chairs pool side, with very little sun.

Here are the pro’s and con’s of this property: GREAT location and affordable price. Parking included. Staff is grumpy at best. Do not dare to attempt check in before 3:01pm. Although, if you do arrive early they will let you park in the hotel parking lot. WiFi was terrible! In the morning it was somewhat reliable - but guaranteed not to work after about 8:00p Our cell phones did not connect well from inside the rooms The room was basic and aged - but seemed to be clean. Pillows were yuck Terrible shower - but had hot water, so we made it work for us

This hotel was a huge disappointment. I’m giving it 2 stars only because of the excellent location — otherwise, it would be 1 star. The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. Our room had a terrible smell, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were awful, and the blankets were bad as well. We barely slept the entire night. On the third floor, the internet did not work at all, which was very frustrating. On top of that, the hotel charged us additional fees, even though Expedia clearly stated that all fees were already included.
