"The location was great, walkable distance to everything and was right above a mall. However, the rooms itself were not the greatest. First off, there is no mini fridge in the rooms. With a country so hot, you’d think there would be a mini fridge to keep things cold. There is a shared fridge on each floor but I don’t trust it. Second, the bathroom/shower design was horrible. There is no glass preventing the toilet area from getting wet so every time you shower, it splashes all over the place. I...

"Beautiful hotel with incredible view of Singapore. Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel is right next to a Mall offering shopping opportunies and numerous places to eat. Raffles is across the street. The location is walkable and offers easy access by taxi or bus to destinations further away."

"Staff are excellent, good humoured and helpful. The decor of the rooms is a little tired. Air-conditioning is unacceptably loud - measured at 50 decibels (or the equivalent of someone having a conversation in the room) even at the lowest setting. Sound-proofing of the windows is also only partly effective: traffic noise measured around 48 decibels, even at midnight. I would have also liked greater restaurant choice: there are only two - one high-end Cantonese and the other the standard breakfast...

"Hotel was pleasant and very central to a lot of eateries. The popular Lau Pa Sat hawker center is just few steps away. Love the tea scent as you enter the hotel entrance. The beds were comfortable and water pressure was strong. One thing to let guests know ahead of time is to bring a reusable bottle since there's no bottled water provided. 7-11 is nearby but a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was delicious and had western and Asian cuisine. Overall, a great stay. "
