"Just returned from 3 weeks in Portugal and the highlight of our trip was the week my wife and I spent at Casa do Vale de Cerdeiras with our two adult daughters, their partners and a friend of the family. First let’s start with the detailed information Victor provided to us before we even got to the Casa and his responsiveness to any requests for additional information. "We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...

"Marcus’ place is incredible! It was much bigger than we expected and worked perfectly for our group (two families with teenage kids 14- 18 plus my 80 year old mother). The pool was great (particularly given the heat!) and we made good use of the gym and cinema room (the property also has its own chapel!) Having Rosa, the housekeeper, join us every morning to set out breakfast was fantastic and meant that we had one less meal to organise. Deserves its 5* rating!"
